Star Trek - 2008

What do you think about the trailer? Looks good. can't wait to see the polar bears from Lost making an appearance. <read> sarcasm. ;-)

You forgot the monster from Cloverfield.

I'm not putting everything on a teaser trailer. It's all it is, a teaser.

^^ What's this with you posting on the boards?

I love Star Trek, but I'm a bigger Star Wars fan. I'll probably go see this though like I have all the previous 5 or so.

I think I've seen all the films now except maybe Undiscovered Country and maybe one other.

It's funny how Shatner got a lot better when he got on Boston Legal. I was shocked he could actually act!

Because most of his "acting" is an act. Then, he was usually called upon to parody "himself."

Steven, on this board we use the ^ sign instead of quoting the post above you, thanks.

It is unwise to correct an admin like that, especially when he's been running the boards for 5 years longer than you've been registered. That would be called disrespect to staff, which is against the TOS, and people have been banned for it.

Now, if you had sent me a note, asking if I had hit the quote button by mistake, I would've been a lot easier on you. In other words, you treat the staff and everyone else how they want to be treated.

I can't believe thay are makeing another Star Trek. I have never seen any of the previous ones. I did see all the Star Wars. I have a cousin who should be very excited about a new movie.

Steve, please be patient with the newer people who haven't had the chance to learn the ways of TN. But then again, he does make a point but I wouldn't say that to you...lol On further review, the post above was seperated by a post from yours truly. The call is reversed and no time outs will be charged to Steven...

I'm a huge Trek fan. I hope this injects new life into the franchise. It'll also help my bonus next year...to please go see it!

Loosen up on the force choke, Darth Vader.

As for Star Trek, I'm a bit skeptical of the hype. I did notice that the guy was arc welding without protection from the light. Even with all the grime all over his face, he would still get bad gamma ray burns.
