For those who are fans of the coasters shows which were once popular on the Discovery and Travel channel, the Travel channel is hosting, once again, its "great family vacations week." The preview itself showed a bit of coaster and park footage.

The "family vacations week" starts friday. Friday, I believe, is greatest beach/resort places. Saturay, I believe, is wonders of the world, and whatnot.

My TV guide won't give out a schedule past that at the moment...stupid Quest. Anways, any rollercoaster and theme park related stuff is supposed to be on one of those following days, so if you're interested, keep an eye out, or even if you have any more information, feel free to share!

I saw the episode of How Do They Do It. It was a nice tribute to Maverick at Cedar Point. Most of the imagery was computer generated and they showed the now non-existent heartline roll over the pond .
