Painkiller is the best song ever. Enough said.

If anyone wants to play with me, hit me up with a request at XxWarlordxX11. I just don't have a working drumset.

Yeah I was looking at that today. Some sweet songs. I think I will be buying both games. I think Guitar Hero World Tour comes out in Oct for PS2. So thats something to look forward too.

I didn't have to read past 30 Seconds to Mars on that song list to know that I'm going to buy GH for sure.

Wow. I was looking over the set list for both of the games and I counted how many songs I really really liked on them, and the amount was almost the same. On Guitar Hero: World Tour, I found 20 songs I really really liked and on Rock Band 2, I found 25 songs I really really liked so I dont know which one I will get.

Well hopefully my rockband instruments work with Guitar Hero World Tour. I was reading on wiki that they might not work. I do have a guitar hero guitar, which should work for World Tour. I'm definitely buying Rockband 2, just the game. When we get closer to release date for World Tour and Its determined that the instruments from Rockband 1 work with World Tour, I'm all over it.

I doubt the drums for RockBand 1 will work with GH: WT.
Guitar Hero drums have 5 colours while the original RockBand only has 4. I can see it working the other way around (and I believe I have read that it will work like that) but not the way you're hoping.

When using Rock Band's drum controller, which has one less percussion pad than the World Tour unit ("Rock Band" has four drum pads, "World Tour" has three drum pads and two cymbal pads), two of the lanes on the "World Tour" drum board will merge, reducing the note track to four drum pads and bass pedal.
Xbox Rock Band Instruments Work With New Guitar Hero | Game | Life from Wired.com

That right there says that the Xbox 360 Rockband drum set will work with GH : WT. So I'm hoping that its the same way for PS2.

Aside from this, I would say there are roughly 50 other songs in the game worth playing again. That's pretty decent, considering there were maybe 3 songs in GH3 worth playing, and only 58 songs period on the first game's disc(also only a few that were really great). Also if your into DLC, Harmonix is starting us off with everything we already bought plus Megadeth last week(Peace Sells...But Who's Buying, which is completely awesome) and Rush's Moving Pictures next week plus 6 other songs by different artists(Bad Religion, The Cult, Kasabian stand out for me in this one). It hasn't left my xbox since launch. It's really fun, totally worth getting.

Sucks I can't get any DLC for PS2. Only Xbox360 and PS3 are capable of getting more songs to play.

I just put $100 down on Guitar Hero: World Tour for my PS3. Will have to pay $89.99+tax when it arrives.

Can't wait for the end of October

Are you talking about GHWT or RB2, because I know GHWT will have DLC for all four systems. I'm not sure about RB2.
