Your introduction should read like this instead of the way you have it...

Welcome to Disney Travel Insider! It is the happiest travel site on earth! Here, you will find all of the information you need to make you next trip to a Disney Resort the happiest experience of your entire life! So what are you waiting for? Come on in and find the right experience for you.

Also, your web store link is working, but there is nothing in it. Any reason why?

Oh yeah, why aren't you adding any of the international Disney parks to your website. People do travel outside of the United States.

Just a word of warning....those pictures look awfully professional (and I apologize before hand if I offend you if you took those pictures), but it looks like you boosted pictures off of someone without getting their permission. You should really post your own pictures unless you get permission to use the photographs.

Here are some answers:

My website building software I used for some crazy reason threw in a web store. I took it out.

Thanks for the idea on the introduction, and I think i'll use it.

And I will add the international parks later on, including Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Also, this is a disney expansion of my big site Roller Coaster Insider, and I was thinking if Disney Travel Insider went well, I would do sites for Universal busch, Six Flags, and Cedar Fair Parks maybe later on. good idea???

Put a link to ThrillNetwork on the site so you can leave the link to it in your signature here.

Useing other peoples photos is illegal, against the law and down right rude. If you are going to build a website you should use your own photos not somebody elses. If you are going to use somebody elses photos then you need permission which I am pretty sure you didnt get. Most people dont appreciate others useing their property. Some of us are real photographers and our photos are coverd under copyright laws and or the magazines and books that our photos are used in are also copyrighted.

I actually sent email's to any sites I got pictures of regaurding permission of use, but I did not know about the picture thing, and if no permissions are given tomorrow, I will take the pictures off as soon as possible. But is the rest of the site good?

I'm sorrry. I'm just a 13 year old kid who loves theme parks and was just building this website for fun. No selling anything. Not even any member groups. But I would like to learn a bit more about this permision thing as I have seen the amazing pictures from your site and others, meaning there is a correct way to contact them. How Do I do this?

Actually that is all it is. It is that person's photography, therefore copyrighted for their use only. Basically, it's a federal law that you can't use someone's photograph without their permission. Otherwise, it's stealing.

Usually, if you ask a photographer to use their picture they don't mind, but depends on what the picture is about. I usually allow my photographs used anywhere, but they need to use a notation with my name on it so I get the credit, not the person posting said picture.

I know you are only 13 and you are new to this, but you can't steal someone else's pictures and get the credit for their work. You have been to Disney, right? Just use what you have until you get permission from whomever you used pics from.

I guess I'll wait for you to go take pictures in person at Disney with your Kodak camera.

Josh, who I thought was way older, does an amazing job with his own pictures taken with a Canon camera on a SFGADV unofficial fan site.

FireFox tells me that "Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page." When I click install missing plugins I get " No suitable plugins were found. Unknown plugin (text/html).

The page loads in exploder and has balloons moving up the page, its ok but it about chokes my machine.

The page loads in safari with no error or message and no balloons.

My advice is to keep it simple. Fast loading pages are the best. Peeps don't want to jump through hoops just to read a page.

Thanks Katie. I think I do have quite a few pics of my own, but i tried to contact DIS (wdwinfo) and they did not have any info. But I will be careful, and I knew about copyright, but I thought that ment you could not sell things with the pciture or sell the picture itself.
I will remember to take lots of pictures on my orlando parks trip next year. (I've been to both Disney Resorts, but I didn't take any pictures at Disneyland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Oh, and also (I can't believe I didn't mention this on Thrill Network) be sure to check out Roller Coaster Insider first, as Disney Travel Insider is actually just an expansion site. Here you can find news, info, pictures, and POV's on over 380 coasters and counting!

You may want to go through and proofread some of your text. I found a few spelling errors and grammatical errors as well.

And I have a question, if the site name is Roller Coaster Insider, why in the link is it spelled "roler"?

I love this.

It would be great if we could somehow get an honest count of how many of these very same people that get offended have in the past stolen music or videos by downloading them for free?

markham2020: I could never get a website up and running. Congratulations!

I thought the exact same thing.

Markham: Watch your POV's on that site. You could possibly get busted for that too.

I don't steal my music downloads, I use Itunes so I can't get anything for free unless they offer it.

I am a photographer and I am a big stickler about someone using my photographs without my permission. Even then, if they get my permission, then they don't credit me for the picture. Which is just as bad IMO.

I have also worked for a corporate portrait studio. Do you know how many people go home and scan all of their pictures so we don't make any money? It's ridiculous in this economy. If you have a camera at home, it's just as good.

Actually, they are all You Tube videos meaning they are free to access and use.

Plus, again, I did finally get permission for everything.

Yes, youtube is free. But you can still get into a lot of trouble by putting those on your website.

No, you didn't take them, but most of the people who did, did NOT get permission from the park. I only saw a few "Approved" and official videos from the park that you use.

I remember a lot of people on RCPro get all mad because they had to take down their POV section, because all of it was done illegally.

So, just be careful of what you put on your site that doesn't belong to you.

So I just took a look at your video and photo gallery.
Did you even ask the people who's photos you stole if you could use them? I'd be pretty pissed if I found someone using my photos without asking. And I noted you have photos from multiple sites... And as far as your video gallery. Its just links to other peoples youtube videos (and mostly park uploaded videos.. I saw the same MF and Mantis POV listed twice)

If you want your site to last.. You need YOUR OWN CONTENT. Something to make your site different from the other 1342567906345 coaster sites.

I also noticed the photos you've uploaded onto your TN galley are ones from RCDB and not your own. I think TN has rules about uploading other peoples photos.

Yeah, I am trying to use my own content. Anything from rcdb is just temporary. I actually plan to create my own facts, photos, and videos section where you can find a roller coaster, click on it, and find info, pics, and videos on it. Plus all of the pics and videos would be put on either with permission or member uploaded photos! (members can't upload videos)

You can not use those photos from RCDB without people's permission. Temporary or not. It's still stealing others work and passing it off as your own.

I never got my question answered about the spelling within the homepage link itself, as well as other spelling errors around the site.

You might be doing this for fun, but no one is going to take it seriously. Plus that one post in your forums does not match how you type normally.

All right here are the answers (I thought I answered the first?)

When you create your website on Webs (formaly freewebs) your username is your website, and I made a mistake that for some reason it will not let me fix, but it does make my site "unique". And I quoted the forum answer from an online source before I learned of the permission thing. But I thought I quoted the source- wait, I just checked and I did not. So should I take it out?

You have pictures from RcPro, Coasterimage.com, ACE and illegal POV pics in that mix.

Tell me you have permission from all of them! Seriously, when building a website, you need to use your own content. No one will take you seriously (1) and (2) you can get sued for using someone else's content without even giving them the credit for using it! Even though their mark is on the picture, you still give them no credit what so ever for using the picture.

If you did get permission, put that in the caption. People do go ballistic when you don't ask their permission, I know I would.

Here is the simplest way to put this..
If you did not take the photos or you did not do the research on the information as in call the park and get all the info. Dont use it on your website, its not yours and is illegal.

All it takes is a phone call to your webhost to say hey this person is illegally using so and sos property and your website will be removed.

There are alot of laws that have to do with peoples property.. But for some reason people think that the internet is some free place that people can take and use what ever they want.. Well its not... Using somebody elses property is the same as walking into there house and taking there TV..

As Katie said, if you want to have any type of respect on the internet dont use others stuff.

I have spent more time and money then anybody could imagine to produce a website that is decent and has some decent quality. I designed everything and just about 99% of all material is mine as in my photos, my ideas, my thoughts, my graphics. The few things that arent mine I have gone out of my way to make sure I have permission, that I have the photo takers names, that I have contacted the parks to get use of graphics and the like.

Well, first of all, both galleries will be going down soon, as I listen to comments and I have planed a way to make it easier on me to get permission which if you checked is on my site.

While highly likely, you don't know for sure its all illegal POV. - From the YouTube videos I saw linked, most were park-mounted cams.

There were a few pictures in there that were POV pics. I wasn't talking about the Youtube stuff.

I am all for content, just have the permission to use someone elses, right?

Oh James, nice coaster count!

I finally created my first page just for a certain park, and I wanted some imput on if this is the kind of thing that would be right. Remember that there are NO photos, as I have not gotten any permission yet, but hopefully I will soon.

Here is a page for my home park, Lagoon: Roller Coaster Insider |
