FinallyFast.com

So I saw this ad today for the first time, or maybe the second.

I went to investigate and according to a ton of people on the net, this is a scam that actually hits your computer with tons of junk and viruses.

Anybody downloaded this supposed "great" software?

I've heard of it, and I don't recommend that, or anything that advertises on TV like they do. Another one that did so was Stopsign.com (another bad company).

I just emailed Microsoft because I noticed they use the "Microsoft Certified Partner" logo. However, I could not find them listed in their database.

Also, Wes, you forgot software = Media Discussion.

I'm so sick of that commercial. I have seen it about 5 times a day for the last 3 months.

I like how in the commercial they're using Macs, and a blue screen of death pops up. Uh? Do your homework Finallyfast.com

The easier, more effective, and efficient solution? Find free software online, its out there. AVG Antivirus is a good start. Just hop on google or computing sites and look around.

Stay away from Norton, that stuff literally takes over your computer. Get PC Cillen (Is that you how you spell it) if you must spend money.

I just watched the commercial online. Why would you want to trust this?

We use AVG and haven't had a problem in a long time. But, we also have MAC and PC in this house.

Actually Kyle... if you have to pay for antivirus, AVG makes an uprated version that takes care of more than viruses and spyware.

I don't recommend PC-Cillin anymore.

Here's what I have found wrong with that commercial:

- Unless you're running Parallels or Boot Camp, you're not running XP on a Mac.
- "This program has performed an illegal operation..." does not appear in Windows 2000, XP, or Vista (the box is entirely different). It only appears in Win9x/ME.
- Firefox error page in Internet Explorer

Proof it is a virus...

Yeah, I wasn't recommending the site, more a warning. But was also curious if anyone had gotten taken by it.

I can't believe some ads that get run though. They could say "We know where the Holy Grail is! Call now!" and they'd probably still run the ad.

The people using Finallyfast.com are probably on that site wearing a Snuggie, after they have cleaned up their spilt mess with a ShamWow that was mended together with Mighty Mendit.

Don't be hatin' on the Snuggie!!!

I want one of those!

Although, if I am caught in one at a sporting event, you have the right to kill me dead.

lol. If you really wanted to find out about this crappy product.. You might have tried googling the name and "review" and see how ALL of them complain about it.

"Finally Fast" scam - Google Search

"Finally Fast" spyware - Google Search

Dont use "Finally Fast" - Google Search

See the commercial for the Snuggie went solid until they cut to the recommendation of using it at a Sporting Event....

Well, this is something now that I can use if people ask if we're a certified partner of Microsoft at work...

https://solutionfinder.microsoft.com...5114a5a019935e

That's the parent company of Finally Fast. Their listing totally diminishes the value of being a certified partner.
