Final Destination: Death Trip 3D

Looks like yet another film is on the way. I never even knew a 4th was being filmed but i came across this today on The Internet Movie Database (IMDb).

After a teen's premonition of a deadly race-car crash helps saves the lives of his peers, Death sets out to collect those who evaded their end.

Release date is 08-21-09

This one could be very good since i love racing.

Anyone interested in seeing this one?

*************SPOILER ALERT***************

Nick and some friends head to the racetrack for the weekend to watch a car race. , when the terrifying accident flys into the audience at 180 mph. People will splatter and be ripped apart, one girl gets her head knocked off by a flying tire, massive explosions, and eventually the entire stadium collapses onto the rest of the audience.

Then main character "Nick" discovers it was just a vision that's about to happen, and he gets himself and about 12 other people ejected from the stadium.

But Death returns to finish off the survivors, with the freak accidents being more brutal than ever.

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave...escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination. The film marks the latest in the highly popular "Final Destination" series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.

I love roller coasters, yet Final Destination 3 was crap.

And this whole 3D thing...I haven't seen any of the 3D movies yet, but I have no desire to. "Oh my God! Look-out there's a tire coming out of the screen at us." -that's something I hear at theme parks, not what I want to hear at movies.

The first one was pretty good, and the second one was watchable, but the third sucked, and this one probably will too. It went from a unique idea to repetitive and stupid crap. I may rent it, but It doubt it'll be all that great.

You have a good point. Final Destination 3 was pretty bad. I myself have never seen a 3-D movie either so that could be intresting to see or i'm sure you would have the option for 3-D or 2-D like with My Bloody Valentite.

I think 2 was enough. They are starting to run the series into the ground. Hopefully this will be the last one until the remake 20 years later.

I really enjoy gore & blood moves like these and SAW so as long as it has lots of gore and blood it will keep me awake.

Another!! I had seen the second one at a hotel a few years back. and I thought "Whats the point of the movie if everyone dies at the beginning" but little did I know about the series. I will for sure not see this movie!!! Its too unusual how everyone dies. You would have to be brain dead to die from some of those "accidents"

I myself did not like the 2nd one at all, the 1st and 3rd ones, i liked those better. As for the 4th one, i probably will wait for it to show on television later on than buy it or rent it, I dont like those 3D movies either

I'm interested in this movie because I'm a sucker for horror movies and 3-D. I've liked all the Final Destination movies but the second was my favorite. I just saw My Blood Valentine in 3-D and was impressed so I'll go see this one as well.

Carowinds, I don't understand you. You bring up a topic you're obviously interested in and as soon as a few people show a lack of interest or put it down, you jump off the bandwagon. I've noticed that a lot from you in various threads. Have some balls man. If you like something or are interested in it, don't just forget about it or pretend now you're not interested once others don't care for it. It makes you come off as fake.

Not trying to critisize, just pointing out the obvious.

I said it could be good cause it has to do with racing. I never said this move was going to be awesome. I later agreed with someone else about how they like coasters but the 3rd movie was dumb.

Please tell me where i said this movie is going to be amazing. I simply started the thread cause some others might find it intresting.

I still think the 4th "could" be intresting.

Umm, you even said that you think the movie will be good but later in other posts, you mention that you think the series has been run into the ground and such. That was only after people critisized the series. Hey, I'm just saying. Nothing to be offended by.
