| Golden Sun
I received all of my GCN games I wanted this season on my brirthday (one week ago), so for Christmas there was one game left, Golden Sun for my GBA. This is probably the game I've look forward to the most, and so far I have not been dissapointed. I've played about 2 hours, and everything about this game is brilliant. The graphics are beautiful, the music sets the mood very well, and the battle system is actually fun. For the first time I actually try to get into random battles because they are so much fun. I'm just starting to learn the Djinn junctioning and summoning system, and I already feel I have a good grasp on it. The system is like the FFVIII system only perfected. You must use a Djinn once which boosts your physical attack. Once you do that it is on standby where you can then use summons. The Djinn can change your class and give you different spells to use, but they can also reduce some stats in battle which adds a whole new realm of strategy (unlike FFVIII where you could use GF with no drawbacks whatsoever). I also like the use of mode 7 on the world map. It adds a nice touch to the exploration. If anyone owns a GBA and even remotely likes RPGs I suggest you BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! IGN wasn't stretching it when they said it is possibly the greatest 2D RPG ever made. If anyone has played the game I'd love to hear your comments. It would also be great to start a little help section on the game as I'm sure they will be points where many people will get stuck.
