Does anyone else think that Myst has some of the greatest graphics and the best plot but.... Its too dam HARD!!!!!!
Does anyone else think that the game was built to use the cheat book because I played that game for 2 years and I never got anywhere until I finally decided to cheat.
Did anyone else get really fustraded with this and tell us where you had the most trouble. And if you actually beat the game without cheats what the secret to your suscess was

I had gotton to the first age all by myself...but then i had no clue what I was supposed to do. Soo, yeah, I printed out a walkthrough from the internet and I used that. Myst is a really hard game. Only genuises would be able to beat it without resorting to cheating.

Yes myst is evil. I played that game forever and could never figure out what to do. I just wandered around trying to figure out something but never could. I eventually gave up on the game and haven't touched it since.

a word to all people who have not yet beaten myst and are thwacking thier brains: Stop right now. The game ending is not worth it. In fact, there is barely an ending. If you really want to see the ending, screw visiting each age and just go to the switch vault straightway. You only have to solve one puzzle (to get to the last marker switch) and then put in the fireplace combination. It is no fun whatsoever trying to go through each age. Myst is hailed as one of the greatest game sof all time. Bah! The puzzles there are enough to turn anyone off.

I beleive that myst is cool, but it is a pretty hard game. It is wise to have a smarter older person around to help you get through the game. By the way is there gonna be a myst 4 i have heard that from the local Electronics Boutique store.

I loved Myst, one of the only computer games I ever really got in to... also liked Riven... solved 'em both too... but then again I guess I AM a smarter older person Although, I bought Exile and never finished it - maybe now I'm too old, or just stupider.

Myst is fun, and it's challenging, but eventually, I gave up playing it. I got stumped, I didn't feel like cheating, and I couldn't figure out what to do. I haven't played Myst in over a couple years or so. The computer with Myst on it is know in my youngest sister's room.
