How the heck do you beat this mission? I get to the prison, then in about, 20 seconds, it says i have failed the mission because the train with the prisoners was destroyed, so where is the train and what do i do?!? please help.

You have to destroy all of the guard towers or they blow up the train very quickly. Just get your guys on the guns and you bomb the guns also. Get as many as you can as quickly as possible, and just you'll probably get through. But it also takes a little thing known as "skill".

I had a similar problem on this mission at first. The problem was that I wasn't following the radar screen. If you follow that, it will take you in a different direction than you were previously headed. After that, it should be relatively easy.
