Games for Christmas

Which games are on your wanted list for Christmas, and which games (if any) are you buying for other people?

I have only one game on my wanted list -- because I can't find it anywhere -- Castlevania : Symphony of the Night.

I got my brother a GameCube, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tony Hawk 4, Super Monkey Ball, and Madden NFL 2003.

I am getting quite a lot of games this Christmas, but during the rest of the year I hardly ever get any. So this is what I basically have to live off of in the next year ...

PlayStation 2 -- Frequency, Ratchet and Clank, Suikoden III
GameCube -- Metroid Prime, Sonic Mega Collection, Super Monkey Ball 2

While that's true, we're here in the VIDEO GAMES forum... so when asked which GAMES you're getting, a bike isn't a very valid answer.

Oh, I left out a minor detail. If I had the extra money aside, or I got more money than I thought I would've I proabobly would get these-

TimeSplitters 2
2 of last years games (they are very cheap and Id rather get two of last years good games, then spend 50 on one.)
And then I might rent a few, but I don't play video games as much as id like to anymore, Like I said Im buying a bike frame, Im into biking. (Mountain bikine)

Well, I got my brother(20) and sister(13) Kingdom Hearts (They are going to learn to share) only because I'm a really nice guy. I'm not really into platform games, and since my bro has the PS2 and X-Box with my sister having N64 and getting Game cube this christmas I have no need for my own system (read *parent's won't get me one) so I havn't been able to get into them. On top of that, my Bro, his friends, my cousins and they're friends probably have every game imaginable. SO again no need for any games.

Hey coasterphil, tell me your gamertag when you get live ok? I want to actually play with someone who I sort of know in a way. Well, we both like coasters and live in Illinois so good enough for me!

I'm Comiskey Park and I pretty much just play Unreal Championship. I'd play Moto GP or NFL Fever 2003 if invited.

I purchased Dance Dance Revolution for my niece, and Medal of Honor Allied Assault for my husband.

My son didn't want any computer or video games this year

Umm, Halo (I decided I wanted it now, and it's a little cheaper)
XBOX Live
maybe metroid prime
Splinter Cell
I don't really play games all that much, but those would be the ones I'd want.

Brogs, I'm 15. Anyway, so I don't become a complete spammer (not saying the CP and tt are) I'm thinking about buying XBOX live today now that I think about it. I just got some extra money from my aunt, $50, so I can buy it now. Just wondering, but what's the best game out for XBOX live, and Brogs, what games do you have for it, so that way I can play you. My name will probably be Atrace or Atrace22 if atrace is taken.

EDIT:Brogium, I just saw your old post, and I see you play Unreal. That's good because I was thinking about renting it when I buy XBOX live. Now I just have to get my mom to take me to the mall. Oh, is xbox live pretty easy to install, I'm not very bright when it comes to doing technical things.

I'm getting Metroid Prime and the Star Fox game. My brother is getting Super Monkey Ball 2. I don't have the money to buy games for other people.

Xbox Live is EXTERMELY easy to install. It's a sinch. Just hook up the broadband modem you are using to the back of the xbox, insert CD and it should take about 5 minutes for it to be up and running. You are going to need your credit card. Don't worry, they aren't charging you any more. If you need any help, which you shouldn't, just post here.

I pretty much play Unreal all the time now. I'm not very good at it but I think its really fun. If you like fast paced shooters this is a great game. If you are in for some strategic, realistic shooters get Ghost Recon. I've never played it but I don't like those stealth games where you die in one well placed shot. A demo of Moto GP comes with Live and that is fun. Good racing and you can use your burned music! The Whacked demo is no good I think. And then there are the sports games of course.

HOpe that helps and hope to actually talk to you later. I'm 15 too by the way.

Man your crazy bout Xbox. I personally dont find anything good about it. Sure it has the power, but what good is all that power if you can't put it to use with some good games?! I mean, Sure Xbox has like 2 good games like Splinter Cell and like...............um.......I can't think of any...Okay Jet Set Radio Future. And like....Ps2 has like a ton like Gran Theft Auto: Vice City. SOCOM, DDR Max, ATV Offroad Fury 2, Twisted Metal Black, WipEout Fusion, just a total blast to play. You guys can have fun with your "Power" Ill have fun puttin my power to use with all my fun games and all the fun games PS2 has to offer.

Like I said, If I have the money, Ill proabobly buy ATV 2 for Xmas. But proabobly not.

Let's not turn this into a console argument or a Xbox live discussion. There's different threads for both of those.

Well, after buying XBOX live, and then finding out how it was going to be impossible for me to hook it up to my cable modem, I returned it and got Splinter Cell. It was definately the right choice. The game is just amazing and fun. Now that's one less game on my wish list.

Maio Sunshine
007:Agent Under Fire and
Medal of Honor:Frontline
(All for GC)

All the games are great, and I also got the LCD Screen for my GC and i was playing it all the way down to Texas for my break, a 1000 mile drive, it really makes the trip go by alot faster.
