EA Sports MVP Baseball 2003

I just got this game (PS2 version) yesterday, and it is easily the most realistic and fun baseball game I've yet to play. The game features a killer rock soundtrack from popular and "underground" bands trying to make it. I absolutely love the soundtrack to the game, and gameplay is difficult to figure out, but once you do, the game is a load of fun. The only part of the gameplay that is tough after you figure the game out is baserunning. All in all, it's pretty fun. I'll review it once I get some more time to play it. Anyone else played the game yet?

That comes out for PC too, right? I think this an extension on the Triple Play series (of which I have TP2K1).

Yes, it is coming out for PC, but no, it is not an extension of Triple Play. They scrapped Triple Play (it sucked), and redid the game from scratch. The game is much more interactive, and the gameplay is tons better. It's the best sports game I have.

I just rented it today only the the stupid thing isn't working on my Xbox. Every time I try to load it "THE DISC YOU ARE USING MAY BE DIRTY OR DAMAGED" message comes up. I even cleaned it using my Game Doctor and that didn't work either. It looks like it is a really great game though.

Seeing as how it will probably be in the $30-$50 range...I'll wait for the price to go down. It does look more realistic, what with the broken bats.

Yep, I've broken a few bats (mainly when I get jammed on the inside). The physics of the game and the fluidity of the players is great, I'm seriously hooked on this game.

Ive heard that Segas World Series Baseball is the best game this season.

But for gamecube i dont have many choices for baseball, their is midways craptastic game, ASB 2004 and High Heat.
