Kill Bill back in theaters???

USA Today reports that the success of the "Kill Bill" DVDs bodes well for Quentin Tarantino's dream to bring a full-length Kill Bill to theaters. A film that combines the separate movies could happen as soon as early next year. "It's not just like slapping the two together. There are slight changes, and it has an intermission, like a '60s movie" said the big man himself.

There is a link there to the USA today article.

If this has been mentioned....."whoops."

If it's good enough for Elmer Fudd, it's good enough for me.

This sounds like it could be cool. Nothing like milking a franchise for all it's worth. Then throw in the future DVD that will eventually come out that has both fims on it together for a price tag of about $25 if I had to guess.

Yeah and do different color covers so that the Tarantino fans will buy 5 copies of it. lol

Speaking of which, I finally watched Pulp Fiction.

I switched channels about half way through. I'm sorry, but the film is just boring to me.

I don't get what was supposed to be so "brilliant" about the film.

It has some good moments, but not enough to keep me watching it.

If Quentin Tarantino could make love to himself, I have no doubt he wouldn't ever leave his dwelling again.

Pulp Fiction is one of my all-time favorite films. But obviously not everybody likes it. Ex: my girlfriend didn't like it at all, and neither did her mom. My mom doesn't like it either, for that matter.

So it's not like you're alone, bgwfreak.

Very true! But think about it! If you could, wouldn't you as well.

No, I personally don't care for his movies at all. In fact, I think they're overrated crap.

If this does come true you can guarantee I'll be in the theatre at least 4 times to see it.

I also hope this comes true because I didn't see Kill Bill 1 or 2 in the theater.

I heard way back that he was going to do this only in limited places. At a big festival or something.

If a guy could make love to himself, I don't think it would be that good in my opinion. I think it would just be a pain in the ass.

If that wasn't so damn funny I'd delete it.

I read a spoiler article about the differences between the full cut and the twwo seperate cuts. If it was true, then these are some of the differences... (SPOILERS for the rest of the post)

-"Revenge is a dish best served cold" has been removed and possibly replaced

-The final scene of Volume 1 with Bill and Sophie in the hospital has been removed, you don't find out about BB until Uma does.

And that is all the I can currently remember. Maybe I'll try to find that article again.

Its not for you.
Tarantino makes movies for himself....as I'm sure we all know.
If you are lucky enough to be on the same wave-length as the deranged fool, you will enjoy his films. If you are lucky enough to not be on his wave-length as Tarantino....you will live a happy existance and forever be curious as to what everyone's deal is.

Having said that...I will see this spectacle at least once...probably openning night. And in honor of Tarantino I shall have a HUGE ego all night.

...and a large popcorn, a hot-dog, some nachos and one of those gourmet pretzels.

I'm not going to call him a deranged fool, but he's just not my taste in movie makers.

I'm pretty traditional, I like old classics from the 40's and 50's with Cary Grant, Jimmy Stuart etc and also sci-fi/action movies.

Directors like Stanley Kubrick have never been my thing. I think they are brilliant in their own right, but that doesn't mean I like their style of movie.

There is alot of music I feel that way about.

And yes...he is a deranged fool...but that's kinda what I like about him.

To be honest even though I have both Kill Bill movies on DVD I would go see it in the theater if QT combined them and re-released them becasue I would liek to see how he would splice them together.
