Angry Windows Movie Maker Trouble

Attached below is my first attempt at a coaster video. Sadly though, about one minute of it is 'corrupt'.

Heres the summary:
-The intro works fine.
-After the intro, the music plays fine, but none of the video shows until about 1:06 into the video, when you see a pixel transition into the second vertical drop.
-The video works smoothly from there. The part thats gnawing my head off (literally) is how come the first minute of footage won't show.

Any help, pointers, or is it just the stupidity of Microsoft?

IM me if you want the zip, its too big to attach here.

It could be a lot of things but most likely just the video messed up during rendering. It happens a lot I find. You should just watch the video in WMM, if it works fine, then save it again. It'll probably work then. I would also stop using WMM and try switching to Vegas Video.

Amen to using Vegas Video, actually using it now to edit some IOA footage...

Here's a trial link:
http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/dow...p2.asp?did=583

If you think Vegas 6 is out of your price range, you could get Vegas Movie Studio, almost all of the same great features for only $99.

EDIT: You also may want to try re-capturing your video from the camera with vegas, if you choose to get the trial, because the problem could've occured when you were transferring the video...
