Battlefield 2

Just released yesterday, this game looks to be the hit PC game of 2005. I can't wait to get my hands on it. So I was wondering if anyone else was playing it or something, maybe we could play on the same server sometime.

I have downloaded the demo and it seems like the best edition of the Battlefield series yet. I like having the squad commander feature. It allows for a more realistic game then BF: 1942 and BF: Vietnam. This game is much more realistic then the others so I like it a lot more from what I've seen of it.

I have it, and I've basically been playing it non-stop for a while now. I bought it the hour it came out. I got the DVD version, and its a very, very good game.

I wouldn't call it the best Battlefield game though. Its so fantastic, and I really do love it, but Battlefield 1942 is still the best Battlefield game. Why? It offers so much more variety than the other two. A game based after World War II, the worlds largest war, is going to feature so much more differences in environments, weapons, vehicles, and so forth. It's just a lot more variety.

However, Battlefield 2 features proabobly the most in-depth online gaming experience ever. It features so much intensity, and team work needed to get the win. Only drawbacks is the graphics engine. Its a complete system hog, and a lot of people can't even get the game to work.

Aside from all that, the game is rediculously awesome.

My gamer ID is: Raptordude
