| Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger colors
This is really out of nowhere, but I just realized this and thought it was interesting... The colors of the original power rangers have a secret meaning. -red ranger: sort of the tough guy. red symbolizes action, fury and strength. -blue ranger: the smart one. blue is associated with learning because it calms the mind and makes it clear for learning. -pink ranger: the girly one. pink is a feminine color -black ranger: it's obvious what they were stating here -yellow ranger: ^ -green/white ranger: at first he is envious of the other rangers, but is then cleansed of his evil ways. "green with envy", and white is considered clean and pure.

What exactly were they stating with the black ranger...I sure hope it has nothing to with race. And that goes with the yellow one as well.

Very simple.....the black guy was the black ranger, and the asian chick was the yellow ranger.

Wow I never would have figured out what the "secret" meaning of the colors was ![]() Then of course they confused us to death by having the Yellow Ranger be a guy in Ninja Storm. They must have really run out of ideas, they keep changing the power rangers every year instead of just adding new cast members like they used to.

Don't even get me started on internal metaphors found all over and everywhere in Pokemon... oh wait. too late. I'm starting. Me and my friend had too much time on our hands in English class, and to jestfully mock our English teacher, we analyzed the metaphors and similarites in Pokemon and high school... You see high school is like Pokémon. Pokemon Red and Blue that is. In Pokémon, you start your journey in a city called Pallet Town. Like your freshman year, you are given your pallet to begin to visualize, paint and create your own beautiful work of art that is yours and only yours. As you progress through the game, through the life, you visit several cities that are named with colors, such as: Viridian, Pewter, Cerulean, Saffron, Lavender, Celadon, Fuchsia, and Cinnabar. You are given the paintbrush and the colors to paint your life into this world. And in the end, you find yourself at the Indigo Plateau. A plateau is an elevated area of ground, right? Well, in the end, you are higher than ever before, in a hopeful attempt at beating the Elite Four, the 4 toughest Pokemon trainers known to man. This is your senior year. You’re fighting the four toughest things you've ever seen: Admissions Board, AP Tests, the Scholarship Committees and your classmates’ cutthroat grades. Umm. haha, see metaphors are everywhere! And Trini being the yellow ranger and also Asian, haha flagrant, obvious things that Saban was trying to tell us...

Actually, there was a commercial I saw with something about somebody making their own orange ranger costume, and trying to become a ranger. So, in a way, they have had an orange ranger.

Amy Jo Johnson, whoever the pink ranger was, I thought was pretty hot back then. I watched the first two seasons in the beginning of high school. The other lure to the show was that I liked Transformers and never had the Voltron and Transformers robot toys I wanted as a kid.

I was obsessed with Power Rangers back in kindergarden. But I've always known what the colors stood for. I believe thats what those colors stand for with everything, it wasn't just in the show.

I also was obsessed with the power rangers and also understood what the colors meant. I haven't seen the power rangers for years but I do wonder why the power rangers are continuously changing each year. I mean it could be because there has to be change just like real life when people change constantly. They must make a lot of profit on merchandise do to the constant change.
