B&M - The official website!

I think this is the right place for this - I am sure it will be moved if not!

Just to shout out that B&M have their own website now - the domain name they took over is the start of their on-line presence!

Thanks for posting, It's about time. The site looks ok but not very informative. The site is lacking alot of information that would be nice to have. They also don't list all of their coaster, heck Hydra is not even on there.

They also don't show Top Gun in the inverted section so now i really don't like the site

I do like that they put a contact page up but doubt they'll ever read any of them.

There isn't much actual info on that site, I'd prefer to see more text, rather than pictures of rides I've seen before.

Well, I'm sure they'll add alot more but right now its crap. I've built better sites in 2 hours! Half the pictures don't work and they don't have the really special coasters like SheiKra, Nitro, Batman: The Ride, Hydra, and all those. The ones on there are all older.

Patience is a virtue...

The products section is basically a replica of the catalog I have from them. Anyway, nice to see they finally have a site. Most manufacturer sites are really low key, for a reason though.

Maybe now Intamin will start their own website. I bet it will crash periodically, and fat people won't be able to log on, though.

Or the new Vekoma site, it looks like it's a good one until you click on a link and it takes you nowhere.

B&M used to be too cool and too small for the internet. King of Coasters in the 90's and early 00's and they weren't on. How weird.

Nice one fbama73

Even if the B&M website isn't the newest or flashiest thing around, we know it will always run and have goo capacity also. Sorry, I had to chime in.

While it's certainly not very informative, I do like the main page. It has Raging Bull on it.

I think it has nice style. They picked great examples for each type of coaster. I was most impressed with their choices of: Talon, Medusa, Raging Bull, even Chang. It should have been left its original color. Chang looks really good in its original yellow.

There needs to be more information. If they just put it online, they'll add more information. I really like the Contact Us page (I already did contact them).

I saw this site about 4-6 weeks ago. I gave a couple recomendations, maybe they'll be used soon.

The reason they haven't had a web presence is because, when a park ask for a coaster, they don't go over to the website and see what they want and order it. They know what they want, without the website.

Otherwise though, I think the layout is basic, gives a general idea of the company, and a means of contacting them. That's all they should need really. The only thing I think they need to do it fix the images, and maybe add a history.

If they wanted, when you click the coaster type, maybe list current running rides, and locations.

Sure, it's simple and plain, but at least something's there. It may not be that much to look at, but you've got to start somewhere. I love the description of the standard sit-down looper ("Smooth, comfortable, disorientating, thrilling") and the hypercoaster ( "Height, speed, airtime characterize the Hyper Coaster"). Hopefully something a little better will be coming soon.

Intamin has a website, and it is worse info and picture wise then B&M's. The URL is http://www.intaminworldwide.com/. Coasters and water rides are located under "Pioneer of Amusement Rides" just click on products. "Ride Trade" is for info about drop towers, Intamin's 541 foot tall ferris wheel, etc. The people movers are about the Monorails they make. I also was excited when I found B&M's site. It was about time!

As a webmaster on another site said "They don't need a Web site at all. There are literally only a few dozen people in the entire world that would ever authorize the purchase of one of their rides, and I can guarantee that none of them are going to Google "roller coaster" to find them. They already know about them. Somehow they've managed to build a couple of rides every year now for more than a decade without a site."

I don't know why enthusiasts clamor for an 'online catalog, with full customer list and tons of pictures, etc. etc.' If you want that just go to www.rcdb.com
