Gorillaz - Demon Days

Has anyone else listened to this CD (besides Feel Good Inc, although i do like that song)? This has to be one of the weirdest cds I have ever listened too but after 3-5 times listening too it I really warmed up to about 12/15 songs on the cd, I dont like the Intro, O Green World, and White Light.

Also after looking at the song names and then listening to each song in order I realized that this CD sort of tells a story. In the beginning people get killed off (intro), and then there is the song Last Living Souls, then Kids with Guns, the next few dont make much sense but oh well, next is Every Planet We Reach is Dead, November has Come, All Alone, White Light, Fire Coming out of a Monkeys Head (tells a story then ties in with the next song), Dont Get Lost in Heaven and it ends with the Demon Days

Its like people get killed by Aliens or Demons, then there are a few people left and therye running away, Feel Good Inc i think is supposed to be talking about some kind of shelter maybe?, then he is all alone, sees a white light (symbol of him dying?), goes to heaven, "makes a big mistake", and then it winds up as the demon days

It is weird that i put this much thought into this, and if im wrong I will look like a total douchebag, but oh well. Has anyone else noticed this in anyway or know if I'm right about this story.

Also, if part of the reason Green Day's album American Idiot got so much hype is that it tells a story...why hasn't this cd? I would reccomend you give it a try, or actually at least 3 tiems through

Very good album. One of the best mainstream albums of the year so far, up there with Beck's Guero.

Still doesn't crack my top 10 though.

I got the CD last week. So far I like...

Intro
Kids With Guns
O Green World
Dirty Harry
Feel Good Inc.
Every Planet We Reach Is Dead
All Alone
Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head
Demon Days

The others songs are pretty good. But I like these the most. Basically I like the whole CD. lol.

I was in Gatlinburg (one town over from Dollywood) at the Hard Rock Cafe and I was paying for my polo/hat combo and their video was on.

I was like, who are they!?! I haven't bought the cd yet, but I really liked the sound of that one song. lol
