i saw the preview for it at The Ring 2, and I thought it was the best preview I've ever seen. I've never watched a preview, and been that shocked by a twist.

I cannot wait to see this movie. Even the trailor freaked me out. I love Wes Craven films and I think Rachel McAdams is an extrordinary actress.

I think it's looks great and I always have liked Wes Craven movies. The first preview, which was more of a teaser was awesome. It made it seem like it could be a typical boy meets girl movie and right at the end, his eye turns red and the preview ends. It made you think it could be anything, even that he could be the devil or something. The newer previews obviously show that it's simpler, not supernatural but it still looks interesting. Cillian Murphy was great in Batman Begins and he looks like he should have a great performance in this.

This is something a little different for Wes Craven since he almost always does horror movies. The only movie I can think of where he strayed was Music Of The Heart with Meryl Streep! So this won't be as big a twist since horror and thriller are a heck lot closer than horror and musical drama.

What about friggin Pink Eye the movie HUH!? I had that, TWICE and it sucked proabobly more than the movie.

Looks cheesey, not seeing it, but I am seriously going to make a Pink Eye movie. Terror at 25 feet (The height of my High School's second story where my locker is).

Exact same here, I was also at the movies watching The Ring 2 when I first saw the Red Eye preview. At first when I saw the beginning of the preview I thought it was going to be some kind of chick flick. But, at the end of the preview, me and my friend decided that Red Eye was going to be a must see movie for us.

I saw a billboard for this movie yesterday, and it stated that the movie comes out in August, anyone know the exact date?

I am not a huge horror movie fan, but if Wes Craven made Scream then I am not that excited. His last movie, Cursed, was terrible and I recently saw Scream and was bored to tears. I do think that Red Eye however looks good, but in the recent previews I have been seeing i noticed that it turns into a movie where hes just chasing after her with knives. Now if Quentin Tarantino helped make this, Id be in there instantly. Ill just see what happens with the reviews before i go to see Red Eye.

Also, Rachel McAdams is not only good looking but shes a good actor. Cillian Murphy was good in Batman too, so that is another plus for this movie.

Well the critics have, and on movies.com it had over 4/5 stars altogether. Critics really loved this movie and the customers i talked to at the movie theater today did too.

I don't get what this movie about, but it looks really good. I saw the previews going to see another movie when they first started playing them and I wanted to see it ever since and now that it's out I want to see it.

I saw a new commercial for it this morning, it looks like the ending might get kind of silly but I guess I'll have to see it to make a decision on that.

I wish they would stop showing you so much in the trailers!!! They had my interest peaked with the first trailer. Why do they have to go and show more of the story line!?! grrrrrrrrrrr

Ransom was one of the best examples. I saw that one trailer like 6 times in various movies before the actual movie came out. By the time it did I was so interested in seeing the movie because it didn't show that much and it just had such a cool feel to the trailer. The actual movie (ending) was however a different story. I liked that movie about 3/4 through and the ending was just plain stupid IMO.

Thats why most of the time if i see a trailer for a horror movie starting i'll quickly change the channel. I only do it for horror movies as well.

I hate seeing any clips before i actually see the movie.

Anyway, i do look foward to seeing this, I have heard alot of good things about it.

Yahoo! gave it a B+, which is pretty good. I think it looks great form what I have seen in the preview. The girl in the movie looks sort of like Jennifer Garner. Random.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. The ending was indeed very lame though. No twist, no awesome death, nothing.
But I give the writer credit, this was his first movie.

I saw the movie yesterday and half way through the movie I found myself asking "What is going on?" I didn't know why the girl was crying and doing all the weird stuff she was doing. Then I got on my Hiptop to this movie site and read a short discription of it and that's how I got into the jist of the movie. I didn't think they showed and described the family enough to actually say that that's who they wanted dead....

But the movie was pretty decent overall. They did a good job making the plane scenes interesting thinking how basically half of that movie was in the plane.

Guys if you're going to reveal plot lines and such, please type *SPOILER AHEAD* or something.

Some of us were at Carowinds this weekend and didn't see the movie lol
