I love both Mind of Mencia and Chappelle's show. Mencia is using the same jokes from his stand up though, I have the DVD and I heard most of his from the show on it. And does anyone know when Chappelle season 3 will be on? I heard that Charlie Murphy said it will go straight to DVD.

Chappelles Show, season 3? I heard this... basically its not happening. Unless Chappelle wants to head back to Comedy Central (right now, he is in his hometown doing stand up), then don't get your hopes up for Season 3.

But, face it, Mind of Mencia is the new Chappelles Show. Did Chappelles show have midgets smashing an N64, then sending one on a fake sketch to some kid in a 3rd world country? No.

Mind of Mencia is an awesome show and I will be watching the season finale tomorrow night.

For those in the area, Carlos Mencia (along with Tracy Morgan) will be performing their acts in the University of Maryland Homecoming Pep Rally and Comedy Show. The show is this Thursday, September 29th, at 8 pm in Cole Field House. Tickets are still available at the Union Box Office with tickets for outside visitors at $28 on the stadium seats and $38 for floor seats (for students the price with ID is $14/$20). Just thought I'd bring that up knowing the amount of people on these boards in the MD/DC/VA area who might be interested in seeing Carlos Mencia (or Tracy Morgan for that matter) liive.

Ugh, I think Mencia is just AWFUL. Chappelle is awesome and knows how to deliver humor right... Mencia is just "lol racial humor lol" and I think it sucks.

I haven't ever heard of Mencia before. Does he have a show or something? I'm guessing "Mind of Mencia" is the name of his show but where and when is it aired?

From what I've heard of The Chappelle Show, half of the season was filmed. So it's possible that some of the footage might be used in some way as a DVD. It's too bad because it's a great show.
