Movie Filmed in my School

A Couple of weeks ago, the Movie Off the Black was filmed in Suffern High school. This movie stars Trever Morgan as some sort of Bat boy. Trever Morgan himself was actually really rude. From what I heard, he was Complaining that someone gave him the wrong type of water in the cafeteria

Something else I heard (but not known to be true) is that this film is supposed to take place in colorado. Suffern, Ny looks nothing like Colorado, It is a very distinctivly northeastern town. Apparently Suffern looked more like colorado to them than colorado did.

From what I saw, there is a scene where there is some sort of argument in the hall (filmed in front of the planetarium). They also filmed a classroom, and a Bronco (the car) pulling into the parkinglot (I'm in the background of that scene!) They also fimed a bunch of the school kids doing a very Jazz-ish dance in the tenis court.

During the fiming, some kids tried to "effect" the film by giving the finger in the bacground and yelling. (I will admit I contributed to this by writing a secret message on the window)

I also heard that they filmed in some kid's house, as well as downtown suffern. Why they would do this now (Avon corps buildings are located there, and are undergoing some massive construction)

I will probably buy it just to see my school.

The movie Euro Trip supposedly started out in the town where I live... but the high school looked nothing like the real one and they got the school colors wrong (they should be blue and white)

I have been inside that school, because my grandmother used to work as a secretary there. She now lives in a town called Sloatsburg, which I think is relatively near to Suffern.

Ahh sloatsburg, well know as a hicktown in these parts. (no offense)

Alot of my friends come from there, though. a good number of them are skaters, though, not hicks.

must be those hills, you pick up speed so fast!

I also forgot to mention the reason behind my message, was to get back at Morgan for insulting my town. (rumors say he even expressed bordom for the town being so small, spoiled Californians!)

here's a link to this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0479965/

Don't you know that stars and celebrites are entitled to that type of special treatment?

....only problem is, Trevor Morgan is far from a star...unless being cast in a Barney the Dinosaur movies qualifies you as one.

Oh and you might find this of interest. Could be one of your classmates?

LOL, He was also the kid in Jurassic Park III. the one I kept hoping would get eaten by the raptors!

They definately do go to my school. So many girls in my school act like that, and got excited about Morgan. I hate when things like that happen. If he was just some guy on the street, I bet no one would care.

(Btw Suffern colors are blue and white too!)

As far as I know they filmed parts of Billy Madison in the big mansion in Oshawa by my school(click here)
They also film a lot of movies by my grandma's house. I remember they filmed one on my street but I had the chicken pox, so I couldn't see much of it. A movie was also filmed in her neighbourhood about 2 months ago. When I was getting a ride to work I noticed an old style police car and some american mail boxes.

A few scenes in Dumb and Dumberer were filmed at my high school and in the town square.

My school got a brand new gym out of the deal, so I don't think they cared to much about the quality of the film.

They filmed the movie Election here at a school in Omaha. One of my friends and his mom were extras but can only be scene in the deleted scenes (their scene was deleted). It was a pretty cool experience.

War of the Worlds was filmed across the street from my school last year, Tom Cruise was there, everyone went and saw him. I didn't care as much as other people, but, yeah, lol. That's not as cool as IN a school though, lol. (500th post, WOOT!)

That's really neat. I remember that kid from that Disney movie about the nerd who plays hockey and tries to get the girl. (Oldd...)

There was an actual movie made ABOUT my high school. It's actually a very shady topic... http://imdb.com/title/tt0314886/

People say the bathroom the event happened in is haunted. People also say the entire theatre department is haunted.

Phil, me and my buddies are actually in Dumb and Dumberer. In the scene where they are wearing the polar bear outfits, my friend Andy walks right in front of the camera. I am in the background on the flagpole scene, and they used my car to drive by in a few scenes.

Since everyone is bringing up movies that were either filmed at their school or based on their school, I thought I'd bring up mine. The movie "Cheaters" was based upon the Academic Decathalon cheating scandal during 1995. I was a junior that year and knew some of the kids involved. So it was kinda strange when a few years later, a movie was made about it and was an HBO film.

It was kind of exciting. It would've been even better if they had been allowed to shoot at the school instead of just getting an exterior shot and filming at a school in Toronto. I thought the movie was interesting even if it was a little over dramatic.

Thought of another one. The movie Fled (Lawrence Fishburne, Stephen Baldwin) was filmed entirely at Stone Mountain Park....not but 5 minutes from my house.

The Show Sex and the city was supposed to take place in suffern in an episode, but they got it way off. There is a mcdonald's here, and a dunkin doughnuts, a karate place, a great movie theator with a whirlitzer organ and an atmosphere dating back to the early days of theators. nothing like their dipiction.
