With all of the music networks reaching out to help the hurricane survivors, you have to wonder if its to really help or to self promote. I think its a bit of both...which sites do you think are doing it the best and are really doing it to support the survivors rather then themselves? I only thought of this because while searching a network site for a classic artist and decided to compare what other networks were doing...let me know what you think...

I think it is for both kind of. They are helping a good cause anyway, or promoting themself in a good way, whatever way you look at it. i don't know, but people like Kanye West, they get thier message across and that was NOT self promoting, lol.

yeah i dont think it was self promoting however it didnt hurt his album sales either...would you ever donate to such networks or sites??? or is it hard because you dont really know exactly where the money is going

Well, I don't know if I was donate, IK just rather go straight through the Red Cross, but talking to a celebrity must be pretty cool.
