The White Knight would have been more appropriate for the third film title for the main characters likely to be in it.

Dude, just because you can't HANDLE the amazing talent of Miley Cirus, doesn't mean you have to be a hater.

I've bought Miley Cyrus CD's (and I even know how to spell it!)

Of course, I also have an 8 year old daughter, and I run for the basement every time she plays them, but...

Even if it's satirical it's creeping me out. I'd rather have newbies that are truly fans here. They'd probably be of the typical fanbase age at least.

Top 40 is becoming PG-13 again. I tuned in and found a monotone voice singing. It's hope for any teenage kid now I guess if a star's kid glamored by Disney could do it. I now feel that way about rap/urban genre.

Cue the Joker creepy music.

Are you kidding? Each of those movies were incredible. Most people missed how good the 3rd one actually is. There is a whole lot more depth to those movies than you would think. The 3rd movie's camera style was unique, innovative, and creative and I really think they did a great job with it...plus Topher Grace was awesome, as usual

Maybe after I see it a second time, it will grow on me more but right now I don't see what all the hype is about. The casting and performances were great. Heath Ledger was fantastic, probably one of the best performances I have ever seen in any movie, he definitely stole the show. Aaron Eckhart was also great as Harvey Dent. But there were lots of things I didn't like. Harvey should not have become Two Face. It seemed like Nolan was pulling a Raimi/Venom with adding two face. There was not nearly enough screen time and the transition from Dent's good to Two Face's evil was not nearly as elaborate as it should have been. They should have kept Dent as Dent for the whole movie and then maybe if they could have pulled it off having him become Two Face in the last scene leaving a cliffhanger for the next movie (ala the Joker card).
I absolutely agree with everything in that paragraph. The transition between Dent and Two-Face was not given enough attention, it definitely needed to be either elaborated on, or leave that plot until the next movie.

Heath Ledger gave an astounding performance in the movie. Apart from the fact that I felt the movie was overrated and there were some parts I didn't like or weren't needed, he was an amazing character and played out the part perfectly.

Maybe I only found it overrated because I was REALLY tired the day I saw it, maybe not, but either way I think I need to see it again before I can really judge whether I think it's overrated or not.

DK just might give Titanic a run for it's money.

It's already doubled Titanic's haul in it's first 17 days.

I saw it in IMAX Saturday and that was freakin' awesome. The first scene when it jumped to full screen from widescreen I literally say "whoa!".

I'm still toying with possibly watching it in IMAX again. I didn't pay the first time when I went to the promo. There's a great parody of Batman's voice on the Tube. I hope it breaks the Titanic record.

You have to remember though, movie ticket prices were lower when Titanic was out. I read today that Dark Knight would have to sell over $900 million in tickets to actually break the number of ticket sales that Titanic had.
