Exclamation Message Board Games Guidelines

As some of you may have noticed, a few of the more popular game threads have been closed, a few will reopen in a week but not all. I want to use this time to point out some new rules we are going to try for this forum.

1) No thread Hijacking - What is thread Hijacking you may ask? Well, its simply you and one or two other posters making up pages and pages of the thread. When you have made your one post you do not need to respond directly after the next post that is made in the thread.

2) TN's TOS still applies here - Contrary to what it may seem, the rules still do apply here. That means that things such as personal attacks/flaming of other members will not be tolerated. The threads that will remain closed after this week should have been closed a long time ago.

If a moderator feels any of these rules have been violated, they can and will use their power to either warn, or if it is justified ban users because of their actions.

Good. I think that the rules were too lax in MBG and it is good to see that you guys are cleaning it up. I hope that some of those thread open up again though.

Thanks Kyle. I'm glad that something was said.

One game in particular got out of hand.

I was just wondering if any of the closed thread are going to open up again. I was told that some might open after a week so I just wanted to know. Thanks.

Is it ok to start a thread like this one on gadv.com?

It's basically a thread to say whatever you want, and look, it reached over 1100 pages! We NEED one of those!

I just don't see how one could hurt. In fact, I think it might help a LOT to keep people from spamming other topics or creating other pointless threads. I think gadv.com has become a much happier and joyful place in every aspect, and to everyone, ever since the're "pointless thread" was around. I'm just suggesting what I think might be good, but whatever...it's your's guys' site.
