Thrillville is proud to share with you several highly ranked coasters. There are three wooden roller coasters that rank in the top 5 in the country. That's right. 3 of the top 5 wooden coasters in the country can be found here. The number one wooden coaster in the world, according to Amusement Today, is among them. Aside from those three wood coasters, the other 3 are ranked in the top 70 in the world. The steel coasters are highly ranked as well. The main steel coaster is the number 7 steel coaster in the country, and number 12 in the world. The next is the number 27 coaster in the world. With numbers like these, this park is sure to make every visitor happy.
Starting off the team of coaster is Thunderhead, located at Dollywood.
- Thunderhead has been voted the NUMBER 1 wooden roller coaster in America by Mitch Hawkers poll, and has been rated the NUMBER 1 wooden coaster in the WORLD by Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards. This twister style coaster is a real thriller which can be enjoyed by thrill seekers and families alike. Thunderhead is a truly awesome wooden coaster. http://rcdb.com/ig2451.htm?picture=21
-Thunderhead is backed by five other strong wooden coasters. The next wood in line is Phoenix, at Knoebels Amusement park. Phoenix is a classic wooden coaster at a classic park. It has received praise from all of it's riders. Phoenix has ranked in the top ten wooden coasters several times. This year, it has taken the spot as NUMBER 6 wooden coaster in the world and NUMBER 4 in the country in Mitch Hawkers Poll. Phoenix has consistently ranked high in the polls, and is a very fun ride. http://rcdb.com/ig143.htm?picture=2
-Rampage is the next wooden coaster that guests will enjoy. Rampage is found at Alabama Adventure. Rampage is another highly acclaimed wood coaster. This year, Rampage ranked NUMBER 8 in the world and NUMBER 5 in the country in Mitch Hawkers Poll. This out of control ride is another top ten coaster situated at Thrillville. If you like a ride with a lot of head choppers, then Rampage is for you. http://rcdb.com/ig475.htm?picture=7
-On the shore of the lake located at the back of Thrillville, Dania Beach Hurricane will please all guests at the park. Dania Beach Hurricane will toss you around and throw you out of your seat as you travel over it 3,200 feet of twisted track. Ranked as the 27th best wood coaster in the world, DBH is nothing you would want to pass up. http://rcdb.com/ig622.htm?picture=7
-After enjoying a ride on Dania Beach Hurricane, you will encounter Twister. Twister is located at Knoebels Amusement Park.
As it name may hint, Twister is a twisted, thrilling wood coaster. Sometimes it get the cold shoulder as enthusiast flock to it's brother, Phoenix, but once they ride Twister, they are glad they did. Twister will toss you around for over two minutes as you travel almost 4,000 feet. http://rcdb.com/ig546.htm?picture=3
-The last wooden coaster found at the park is the Hoosier Hurricane. We decided to build the Hoosier Hurricane over the lake at the park to add to the thrill. The Hoosier Hurricane will propel you over several hills producing a nice amount of airtime. It has ranked in the top 70 wood coasters in the world. The Hoosier Hurricane is a great wood coaster that the whole family can ride together. http://rcdb.com/ig270.htm?picture=2
Now onto the steel.
-The first steel coaster in the park, and the big eye catcher, is the massive Superman: Ride of Steel, from SFDL. Superman: Ride of Steel is a beautiful Intamin mega coaster that stretches over 1 mile long. Reaching speed in excess of 70 MPH, Superman will give you an out of seat experience like you've never felt before. Superman: Ride of Steel ranked as the Number 12 steel coaster in the world and the number 7 steel coaster in the country in Mitch Hawkers poll. This ride is not for the faint of heart, or the one who get sick easily. Superman is for the thrill seekers. http://rcdb.com/ig541.htm?picture=3
-The next steel coaster in the park is Batman: The Ride from SFGAdv. Batman: The Ride is an extremely intense inverted coaster. Boasting five inversions, Batman messes with your head. Ranking as the number 6 inverted coaster in the country, this intense ride is really awesome. http://rcdb.com/ig32.htm?picture=3
-Next on the steel list is Flight of Fear, located at Kings Dominion. Flight of Fear. If you like an intense launch coaster, this is your ride. Launching you to speeds of over 50 MPH, FOF will send you into a mangled mess of steel track, and invert you several times. Of the two launch coasters, Flight of Fear is for the brave riders. http://rcdb.com/ig66.htm?picture=6 (picture of one in OH)
-The last, but not least steel coaster is Italian Job: Turbo Coaster, also located at Kings Dominion. Italian Job: Turbo Coaster is a family launched coaster featuring three different launches throughout the course. Themed to Mini Coopers traveling the streets of a city, this exciting coaster is fun for riders and viewers alike. The whole family can enjoy the thrill of this coaster, along with the many others at the park. http://rcdb.com/ig3302.htm?picture=11
Now that you know a lot about Thrillville, I hope you can consider voting for it as one of your favorite park for the 2006 Draft.
Go tell your friends to get ready for Thrillville, thrilling all in a few short days!

| | The apsterling Co. Lineup for Steel Coasters - Tatsu - At 3602 feet long, it may not be the longest, but it sure is the biggest! The "Flying Beast" takes riders through inversions including a Pretzel loop, Zero G Roll, Flatspin, and an Inline twist.
- Goliath (SFMM) - A Hypercoaster not to be messed with. With a 255 foot first drop, Goliath stands taller than all the other rides in the park. It includes a tunnel, and lasts approximately 3 minutes. With speeds in Excess of 85 MPH, it'll leave you wind-whipped and senseless.
- Viper (SFDL) - Taken from the minds of Arrow-Dynamics, Viper is one of the coolest Corkscrew Coasters on the face of the planet. It'll grasp you, loop you, wing you over twice, only to slow and Corkscrew you twice over it's next victims. Are you ready?
- Space Mountain (DL) - Designed by the Imagineers, this ride, despite it's Disney Roots, is one of the best in the park. With it's stats being kept a secret, we can tell you it'll stun you at night with it's alter-ego, Rocket Mountain, with stunning special effects.
- BORG Assimilator - Star Trek fans will love this one (so will anyone wishing to fly) Taking you above the ground and Trying to pummel you to the ground in speeds above 50 MPH, the BORG will try their best to Assimilate you.
- Alpine Boblsled - Take the fun of the downhill bobsled, put it on a steel track, elevate that, get in, and enjoy the ride! Alpine Bobsled will have you reeling and wishing for more after you slide down it's slippery hills.
- Demon (PGA) - The Demon will bash you, smash you, loop you, and try to destroy you in any way possible. It will flip you 4 times in it's 2130 foot course of destruction. Can you survive it?
- Steel Venom (VF!) - This venomous steel beast won't end you after sending you spiraling up at vertical, oh no. It will pull you back into it's grasp - literally, as you ascend the second tower in escape, it grasps you. Are you able to escape?
Wooden Coasters - Mean Streak - Big, Bad, Mean. Sometimes people get angry. Sometimes they get mad. This beast gets Mean. Mean Streak will force you through 1.7 million board feet of southern yellow pine on it's 5427 foot course, will it get you, or can you stop it's Mean Streak.
- Twisted Twins - Lola and Stella are twisted. Very twisted. Designed by classic wooden designers Dennis McNulty and Larry Bill, these sisters clash, speed and blast by each other with seemingly blinding speed. Pick a sis, and battle it out.
Please vote for the Desert Shadow Amusement Park!

| | | Polcyn Enterprises After disposing of a certain CEO who seemed too high on Vekoma's, Polcyn Enterprises was born and thus moved several coasters from notable parks to PE's coaster friendly park where it is always sunny.
Before I was able to fire this troublesome CEO (he was costing me trillions of dollars), he managed to move Apollo's Chariot from Busch Gardens Europe. At least he got the permanent statue of Fabio's bloody nose.
Falling victim next was Holiday World's Legend. Our park can't be injuring people all the time, and this wooden coaster doesn't...unless you are scared of ghosts.
My first major steal from a chain park was next. I've heard park goers say how they don't get enough wood, so I gave them almost 1 million board feet of lumber. Park patrons and execs from Six Flags over Texas followed, and soon that park went under...so sad. I may just rename the Texas Giant to something more fitting.
About this time, many of my patrons were complaining of back problems...all the wooden jerkiness was getting to them. So, I stole another creation from Six Flags New England. This floorless coaster had my patrons screaming for more...how can you disappoint millions of superman fans with Batman-The Dark Knight?
I was still riding Batman, marathoning it for the 3rd straight week, when I caught site of another business venture. How about 6 more inversions in a tighter seating Arrow original? I brought it up to my CFO, COO and even the Bush's (no not the ones with their hands in the oil drums). When pressed, my CFO and COO wanted speed as well. They got their wish later on. However the Bush's were satisfied with going head over heels in double loops, double corkscrews and even in a Batwing. Bush's baked beans really move through you on Vortex. I managed to "borrow" this as Paramount sold its soul to Cedar Fair.
By now, my COO and CFO were crying, much like a bunch of Buckeye fans when they don't get their way. So I finally gave in. As Cedar Fair was closing the deal with Paramount, I found this rather unique (at the time) coaster that would serve as a my mid-park coaster. Rollbacks were frequent, but everyone enjoyed Hypersonic XLC...though there are still some ACErs complaining about it. They shut up once the doughnut buffet was put out. I don't know which moved faster; the coaster, or the ACErs once they saw fattening food.
Then came THE day. I had to go to court on a lawsuit filed by my former CEO, and somehow he managed to pick up a disappointing coaster, what a surprise. Once I found out that he'd selected T2, I took him out back and <censored>.
I had it set in my mind that I was going to ruin Six Flags. I'd had it with whiny enthusiasts, who remind me of overexpectant Notre Dame fans, so I gave them more wood. As I Roared on about who else I was going to ruin, I came out of a nice 200 foot tunnel to the tune of cheering enthusiasts. So I asked them what they would like to see next. MORE WOOD MORE WOOD!!
Alrighty...after scouring Six Flags again, and since Six Flags America ROARed when I took their beloved coaster, "Wally World" was next. I did not see Clark W Griswold, though I was told he was on his way. I made sure I locked up before he came through. Seasonal Cleaning, you know. I was looking for a colossal addition to my park. How can you go wrong with something named Colossus?
Finally, for my guests with back problems, I went a few miles away from my second hometown and moved Raging Wolf Bobs. I retro-fitted some old wood in there so that it would shake some fillings out of some guests, but yet it also seemed to act like a nice massage for others. Copious amounts of advil were free to riders afterwards, but most patrons chose to ride again until the ride numbed their backs.
I would have grabbed more coasters, but the feds were on to me. In order to please the IRS, I had to move the entrance fee to $500. Interestingly, I have more politicians in the park than I do ACErs. I just think the politicians are looking for real jobs...

| | | There will be a slight delay in voting. I've decided to give a little more time for people to promote their parks since I only did give a few days for it. So I've decided to give one more day. Also, the trading deadline has been extended to midnight (CT) today, so that give 18 hours and 33 minutes to trade or make deals from right now.
Voting will begin at noon on Monday. Sorry for the delay.

| | | The first new Six Flags park to premiere with the chain's new family focus is the Six Flags Adventure Island in April 2007. It is located on an island off the Delaware River just 20 miles north of Philadelphia and just minutes away from Rt. 95 and the New Jersey and Pennsylvania turnpikes. The park is only about 80 miles from New York. Don't be fooled by the other parks opening with only extreme rides that claim to be family friendly. We are the true family park with the perfect coaster and ride selections for the beginners to the pedal to the medal thrill seekers in your family.
There's the Flying Unicorn, our beginners' family adventure coaster. Ride our themed unicorn train on a journey through the children's garden. There's plenty of turns and helixes to wind through.
We have the world's largest and one of the rarest electric spiral lift coasters; Whizzer. In toboggan style trains you'll snuggle a little closer as you whirl through the forest through quick drops and turns.
The Roadrunner Express is our Arrow mine train. Meet Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner as you ride on a dual lift wild diving mine train adventure. Steel Force is One Force to be reckoned with. You'll go 75mph over a mile long of multiple huge hills; an airtime experience you won't forget. 5,600 feet and a 205 first drop! Vertical Velocity is the only one of its kind in the world! You'll flip head over heels 150 feet in the air on this inverted wonder again and again and again. You'll feel charged as you launch back and forth 65mph up two towers during your adventure. Rolling Thunder is our dueling 96ft tall wooden coaster. Race your friends lap and lap on this out and back white beauty. Dragon Coaster is one woodie that'll leave you burning for more. Beware of the flames of the Dragon as you barrell through the dragon tunnel and the many double dips of this 80ft tall ride.
Tag along on the Comet. This 84ft. woodie whisks through on journey on the edge of our Lenape Lake. Six Flags Adventure Island is the "King of Cobras!" At our park you'll experience some of the largest cobra rolls on a coaster in the world. The launched Incredible Hulk coaster, the only B&M launch coaster, will hurl you at 40 mph into the crazy chaotic world of Dr. Bruce Banner. At 67mph you'll take on 7 spine tingling inversions that you'll go outrageous for. The inverted Alpengeist coaster is our wild 195ft tall 6 inversion ski lift journey. It's the largest inverted coaster in the United States!
Our park even has a lake central to the park where water ski shows and nightly fireworks shows take place; Lenape Lake. Besides the Lakefront we have other lands like the Looney Tunes Seaport, the Poconos(mountain area), Colonial America, the Children's Garden, Metropolis, and The Shore. For the ultimate in family fun come to Six Flags Adventure Island. Philadelphia and New York's Premiere family destination.

| | My park consists of everthing. I have a huge gigacoaster all the way down to a family suspended coaster ride. In between, I have all sorts of other coasters, a variety that you simply cannot beat. I have a floorless, flyer, invert, standup as well as two great wooden coasters, both of whch are always ranked in many top wooden coaster categories. There's something for everyone. Have a look for yourself.
1. Millennium Force - Cedar Point
310 feet tall, 300 foot-80 degree drop, 6,595 feet of track http://www.rcdb.com/ig594.htm?picture=16
Millennium Force has been recognized as the #1 or #2 coaster by Amusement Today in their Golden Ticket Awards (as well as numerous other sites) every year since it opened. It was the first traditional coaster to surpass 300 feet tall as well as 90mph. It is still one of the biggest coasters in the world and still best loved as shown by it's constant ranking as a top coaster.
2. Dueling Dragons - Islands of Adventure
Fire- 125ft tall 60mph, 5 inversions
Ice- 125ft tall 55mph, 5 inversions http://www.rcdb.com/ig558.htm?picture=25
This inverted coaster opened 1999, is very unique. So unique, it's one of a kind. It is the only two tracked dueling inverted coaster. Two individual tracks that feature their own seperate layouts duel with each other and include the famous loops that put you within just a foot or so of each other's feet.
3. Shivering Timbers - Michigan's Adventures
122ft tall, 5,383 feet of track, 57mph http://www.rcdb.com/ig478.htm?picture=2
This out and back wooden coaster has made Amusement Today's list of top 10 woodies many times since it opened in 1998 as well asmany other lists. It features over a mile of track and a nonstop layout of hill after hill including hills of 122ft, 100ft and 95ft. It also features the famous "trick track" section which surprises riders by throwing then one way and then the other along a straight section of track.
4. Medusa - Six Flags Great Adventure
142ft tall, 61, 7 inversions http://www.rcdb.com/ig502.htm?picture=5
This was the very first floorless coaster and would prove to be very popular with many other floorless coasters opening up in the years since. The floorless coaster is like mny other looping coasters with one major difference. There is no floor under your feet allowing them to dangle freely with the track appearing dangerously close!
5. Mind bender - Six Flags Over Georgia
80ft tall, 50mph, 2 inversions http://www.rcdb.com/ig37.htm?picture=5
This beloved Schwarkoph coaster is a true classic and still very popular almost 30 years after it opened. Schwarkoph was and is still regarded as one of the best in coaster manufacturing. This coaster serves as a testament to that.
6. Viper - Six Flags Great America
100ft tall, 50mph http://www.rcdb.com/ig10.htm?picture=1
This is a clasic style woodie patterned after the classic Cyclone in New York. Looking at this coaster, you don't see anything that looks amazing but this is a fun ride that many consider to be the best coaster at SFGAm, even over Raging Bull. There are some great moments of airtime on this midsize wooden coaster that really lift you off your seat. Over a decade later and it's still one of the most popular coasters at the park.
7. Mr. Freeze - Six Flags Over Texas
218ft tall, 70mph http://www.rcdb.com/ig281.htm?picture=2
Mr. Freeze launches you from 0-70mph in 4 seconds through a tunnel. From there you travel through an inverted tophat and then down and into a high banked turn. Once you do that, you head up a vertical tower and lifted up just a little higher so that you have the momentum to carry you throuh it all....backwards. This shuttle coaster is one of only two of it's kind an design. This is a very intense coaster.
8. X-Flight - Geauga Lake
115ft tall, 3340ft of track, 5 inversions, 50mph http://www.rcdb.com/ig920.htm?picture=6
This was one of the first flying coasters. It opened just one year after Stealth. This flying coaster is more twisted than the early models made by B&M. And having ridding both, I'd say this is far better because of it's intensity and a layout that is always flipping you one way or the other as opposed to a slower paced layout like in S:UF.
9. Ninja Six Flags Magic Mountain
55mph, 60ft tall http://www.rcdb.com/ig129.htm?picture=11
This suspened coaster allows the cars on the train to swing at up to 110 degrees. This is an exciting but more tame coaster for the family to enjoy together.
10. Vortex Paramount Great America
91ft tall, 2 inversions http://www.rcdb.com/ig79.htm?picture=3
This was one of the first standup coasters ever built. I features two inversions and a twisting layout of track.

Let me know as soon as possible if anyone notices any mistakes in anything. All members must vote. To vote, send me a PM (personal message) through Thrillnetwork of the parks you consider to be the TOP 8 parks in order of preferncs. You cannot vote for your own park. Again, all Coaster Draft members must vote. All other TN members are eligble to vote. Voting will be done privately via PM. The only vote that will be made public is mine to ensure there is no cheating on my behalf.
My top 8 parks are as follows.
1. Jimmy B
2. Dan G
3. Deja Vu_Rules
4. Wes
5. Willski2002
6. RaptorXLC
7. Jerry S
8. sfft_2108
So once again, you can now vote by sending me a personal message. I haven't a set date for when votes must be in by but I will give at least a week (till next Monday) at the earliest. I also wanted to say that it was very hard to pick the top 8 as there were quite a few other parks just on the edge of making my top 8. Good job by everyone and good luck. [Edit] I fixed a mistake of not recognizing the trade made between Steel and TopDrag. Steel received Spining Dragons and TopDrag got La Vibora. The change has now been made.
