Coaster Draft 2007

The 2007 draft is now underway!

Here are the rules:

Players will have 24 hours to make their pick; once the player as made the pick or 24 hours has passed, the next player may then start making their pick, although the member before will still have the chance to draft if the next person has not picked yet. If the member after you has already picked, then you cannot make your pick.

IMPORTANT NOTE -- PLEASE NOTICE: There will be NO emergency make-up picks this time unlike last year, so if you miss your chance to pick, you will forfeit that pick.

If an alternate does replace an active player who has missed their picks, then the alternate is allowed to make the pick up.

All coasters selected must be in the US.

All coasters must be open or scheduled to be open this year.

Coasters that are no longer standing or not running this year are not eligible.

A coaster can only be picked once; once it is selected, no one else may select it again.

I will also ask that nobody makes suggestions for coasters people should pick. It's not fair to other members and such posts will be deleted.

When making a pick, a post should contain the full name of the coaster. Abbreviations for parks will be allowed as long as they are exact. Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Great America can be easily confused if you only write SFGA. Remember to make it SFGAd or SFGAm.

About making trades: For trades to be official, both sides need to officially agree to the trade by posting here saying that you either announce or confirm the trade in question.

This thread is only for making draft picks, announcing/confirming trades, and important announcements made by Andrew, coasterlove, or myself. All questions/comments and trade poposals should be directed here.

Since we already have a master draft board, there will be no posting updated draft boards here or anywhere else. Always check the master board thread for updates to the draft board.

Marcus has decided to drop out of the draft, citing his work load at Cedar Point as his reason. Coasterb will be the next alternate to fill in and he will have the #20 spot in the draft and everyone before him will move up a spot -- effective immediately.

Martin has decided to step down from the draft, his summer schedule outside ThrillNetwork is virtually booked, so he won't be able to play. He will be replaced by rckrazy06, who will make up Martin's missed first round pick as soon as possible and will make all subsequent picks after coasterb.
