Name that coaster!

This is a game I've played on varying other forums with varying types of pictures, and it's always turned out fun. Here's how it goes... post a picture that shows a roller coaster. Any roller coaster at all, any part of it, including if it's just in the background. The person who guesses it right, gets to post the next picture. Make sure YOU know what coaster it is before you post it so you know when they get it right! My husband has been playing this game with me lately, so I'll start with a picture he gave me to guess.

There's so many of them though. I don't know who would theme it so nicely. Or in which country.

RCDB is your friend! It also helps that James tags all his photos on RCDB, so I knew once I found it, that I had it!

I can't type German characters, but it's Rasender Tausendfubler (means "racing millipede") at Erlebnispark Tripsdill, Germany. And from the rest of the photos, it's a beautifully landscaped park.

It's totally not cheating! I just went to RCDB and looked at all the Tivoli large double figure eights till I found one that matched.

Mine will mostly be well known coasters so you shouldn't have to 'cheat.'

Well, it's a side friction. And the track looks like Roller Coaster at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. So that's my first guess.

w00t! I'll give you props for posting an unusual track type, that made it easier to track down.

This was my first ever "guess that coaster" image, because my husband (boyfriend at the time) just HAD to know what park that was in a commercial. This would have been back in 04 or so, and I didn't know coasters nearly as well as I do now, so I had a lot of fun trying to find it.

Big white wooden coaster ... and go!
