Coaster Draft Weekend

Ok, so since this Coaster Draft seems like a pretty big deal, maybe we could on the day before coaster draft starts make something like an All-Star Game and have events similar to Dunk Contest and other challenges except with a roller coaster twist. So, please post back if it is a good idea, an okay idea, or just blast as hard as you can about how horrible it is as it usually is here!

Eh....trust me. The draft is a lot in itself. You have ten coasters to pick. Hopefully you get what you want. Then you have to sell it to ThrillNetwork. It is a lot more time consuming then one thinks.

Besides which, if it happens in late May or June, a lot of us are out vacationing and its hard enough to keep up with one event (the draft) let alone an all-star kind of thing.

Markham, you could wear the Superman cape in our Coaster Dunk* contest. As a matter of fact you could get one at your local Six Flags: SFMM.

But in seriousness the idle time could allow you to create a depth chart for the Draft.

I agree with Katie. Do you know how hard it is to come up with a theme and be able to stick to it, then have to determine how to sell the park afterwards?

I can't believe I forgot about setting a theme! Okay, scratch this idea!

I hope you realize that the draft will require a long commitment from everyone....believe me, by the 4th or 5th round of this game, you will already be pulling your hair, being that this is your first time. Just hang tight, and the draft will be here before you know it.

And on your request....no one will ever post in this thread again.
