Boulder Dash was the coaster I picked up on still sitting around. I thought about it a couple rounds and as awesome as it is it still wouldn't fit my scope. That's the coaster I cued as the guess Katie would eventually get.

Yeah, I had another pick I was going to use but I risked it for Boulder Dash. I figured a #3 coaser this year, and a #1 coaster in previous years would be a better option, especially since I almost had my park go without a woodie!

San Diego, CA - After several meetings with the up and coming Eagle Amusements, the City of San Diego has accepted the proposal for a new theme park, and has released details regarding the negotiations done over the past few days.

The park must be educational. The city thinks that combining education with entertainment may be a very good way to inspire interest in topics that people generally find boring or mundane. Another condition is that Eagle Amusements must communicate with Sea World and the San Diego Zoo to include the new theme park in affordable ticket packages to allow for easier trip planning and cooperative advertisement.

Details about the size or contents of the park have not been announced yet, however, Eagle Amusements has already asked for nearly 100 building permits, approximately 30 of them look to be rides, and at least six, if not more, may be roller coasters.

Jeez, it has been like a ghost town over here! There is only like five members on at a time and none of them seem to be up for the coaster draft. Very strange now that we will almost have two missed picks in a row, hopefully not three!

I believe Deja is up. Still the other two can get in if they do it before he does. Choose away, they're at your mercy.
I might have to bring out the taser.

^ It is actually.

I think next year, the first members of the 2010 Coaster Draft will be by invite only. They will consist of members from this year's and previous Coaster Drafts. Those not invited will not be allowed to join and the rest will be members from TN with good standing and that are considered to be reliable.

Another thing will be that all members must submit either an e-mail address or instant messenger name to be contacted by Coaster Draft coordinators.

^Yeah, but you really shouldn't have to email people to remind them their draft pick is up. And just when I thought this year's draft was going fast.

^He asked me via myspace if he was up and I said yes. He said he was having issues getting on TN earlier.

I am at Holiwood Nights, so I can't pick for anyone, just taking a few hours break in a little bit of heat/thunderstorms (possible) before it clears up for ERT tonight! WOOHOO.

True but it can still help tremendously to speed up the draft. While everybody has 24 hours, if I see that someone is online and their turn just started, I like to let them know just in case they didn't. For example, I'll use myself. If my turn comes up quicker than I'd expect, I don't mind someone letting me know instead of just checking to see if it's my turn later when I could save a few hours and keep the draft moving along.

Okay, so we thought we would be hearing news from MPI along with their next pick, but it seems they have decided to release some news right now!

So first off, Griffon's new website is up and shows off quite a few cool things about Griffon. What it won't reveal though is the reason of its close proximity to SheiKra. If they continue to do so, it looks like the roller coasters will almost lap over each other. But I am sure MPI has that problem under control.

SheiKra is just sitting there finished with maybe one or two test runs a day, just to make sure it runs well. But we did notice the real, floorless cars sitting near the curve into the near vertical chain lift, and those cars should be up and testing soon.

And lastly, most of the work for Boulder Dash has been the removing of trees for the coaster. But we have started to se supports go up for the first drop and a few of the bunny hills.

Now we will leave you off with some construction pictures of Griffon:

^Hey! Do I see Boulder Dash in the top left?

I'm sorry for holding up the draft. I have recently started working and haven't been able to make my pick. Fortunately B-rad has been able to help me out, and I am back and hope it won't happen again.

WOW! Big news surprisingly soon! I can not believe I have the chance to release this news tonight, and I thought this day would never come, but something big is happening on MPI property!

Markham Parks Incorperated has announced it will be aspiring something never EVER done in the history of the ThrillNetwork Draft! For the first time ever, Markham Parks Incorperated that there is no coincidence between two B&M Dive Machines. Here is the Press Release:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ORLANDO, FL- For the first time in the history of the ThrillNetwork Draft MPI released Sunday night that Griffon and SheiKra will battle to the death as: SheiKra V.S. Griffon

If the name doesn't speak for itself, The two coasters will be dueling coasters due to their location and theming.
Guests in the yet unnamed MPI park will choose their side and decide whether they want to battle as the fierce SheiKra or the mighty Griffon. Once the trains have gotten to the tops of both of the chain lifts, they will be held over the vertical drops for 5 seconds before plunging into the interlocking Immelmanns before pulling back and into a wild hunt for the enemy. Both roller coasters will be timed to release the cars at the same time for the SheiKra and Griffon to truely face off.

SheiKra, the first announced coaster of the park, is 200 feet tall with a 145 foot tall Immelmann, 138 foot tall hill straight down again into a big water splash. Griffon is 205 feet tall and will feature two Immelmanns and a splash at the very end with a fly over .

This truely is amazing and will be an unforgetable experience for the folks who visit the MPI park near Orlando, Florida!

Is there an explanation for the 8 seat row versus 10 row?

Although both the SheiKra and the Griffon are equal predators, the Griffon is usually larger and stronger than a SheiKra, while the SheiKra is swifter, quicker, and wiser.

BREAKING NEWS!

This just in! A major catastrophe has just occurred at Geauga Lake. Details are sketchy, and officials are remaining tight-lipped, but sources close to the park have said a fire broke out and has damaged one of the newly acquired coasters. Stay tuned for more information, as it becomes present. Deviant Entertainment's CEO Andrew Polcyn has been notified but has not returned any of our calls.

Update to our breaking news...a fire has been confirmed at the newly acquired Geauga Lake and rumors persist that Mr. Polcyn knew about it. State representatives of A.C.E., members of various Geauga Lake fan sites and even members of the Great Ohio Coaster Club were seen picketing and protesting outside the gates. Several fire departments from around the area had trucks there, but did not appear to be attempting to put the fire out. Here at the Awesome Associated Press, we can only assume that this will be very bad publicity for a park that was looking to compete with the likes of Kennywood and Cedar Point. However, we have interviewed Mr. Polcyn in year's past and he always seems to shock us with something, so when we know more, you all will know more.

Is the Deviant Entertainment's attempts the equivalent of an Al Davis run theme park? Was he merely installing flamethrowers around the new coasters?

Jimmy, I have to give you props for waiting. At high noon, Jimmy came for a Texas style shootout, coaster pick acquired.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Toader Entertainment company has talked to the Minnesota state fair to buy abandon property along the state fair grounds. According to the Moon Tribune (not related to the Star Tribune) The Park will be open during the fair, but will also be open all year round! Did you hear all year round?
Yes. It will feature in indoor section of the park. Head CEO Thomas Spargo says: "Why should nickelodeon universe get all the tourist money in the winter time? I think its time for some competition!"
The Number of attractions that the Indoor section will feature is not known yet.
Stay tuned for more info!

^^Leo, quit reading so much into this. Obviously a great catastrophe, according to 99% of the people you talk to has happened. This is a great travesty. Only the owner/President/CEO that we know as Andrew Polcyn knows for sure, and even he isn't saying anything right now. We can only go from what we know. People are protesting along Ohio State Route 43 from various roller coaster sites and clubs (and carrying pitchforks from what one eyewitness said). Clearly it is something of the utmost importance...even more so than the collapse of General Motors today.

Last Sunday I thought about getting Patriot right before Memorial Day. I was holding out but wanted to basically refute the bait of your trade target Talon in an eventual pick, Markham. Those rides are very closely related Markham, it doesn't make sense. Patriot seems more refined in design flow and has that extra deep dip after the Immelmann. I will thus crown you the Draft's used coaster/car salesman this year. You probably could have sold James' collection of boomerangs a couple drafts ago.

yeah, I expected you were looking to get a nice B&M Invert, so I figured if I could get my hands on Patriot, just maybe I could get a Talon trade for Kumba. So, will you trade now that all of the inverted coasters left are either vekoma slc's or the Batman: Clones?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ORLANDO, FL- MPI has just announced its next roller coaster. The name for the coaster is Patriot and it will be located towards the front of the park. It is yet another B&M inverted coaster, but MPI is in the process of retrieving a coaster for Talon. According to MPI, Patriot will be the 10th tallest inverted coaster in the world (8th in North America), it will have the 9th largest drop (7th in North America), and it will be the 10th longest inverted coaster in the world (7th in North America).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And to finish this off, here are some construction pictures of Patriot as well as a drawn out layout for the future coaster:
