(AAP) - Aurora, OH - With a few weeks remaining until Opening Day, Deviant Entertainment has kept quiet about what other attractions will be available in the park for those that aren't all into roller coasters. And while prices for entrance to the park seem fair, while that of parking seems very unfair, Mr. Polcyn has a few aces up his sleeves, one of which seems to be centered around food, drink and souvenirs. The good news is, he will be nice enough not to charge for use of the restroom. For those that don't like soda, water fountains will be placed every 500 feet, serving ice cold water. There are two rumored water rides coming in, no word on that. Unfortunately those of you that wear rain ponchos on water rides will not be allowed to ride. We have taken a walk through the park, and the coasters are nicely spaced along with some popular flats. The only flat ride we are able to leak to the public is the World-Famous Tilt-A-Whirl. In fact, there are two of them in the park, a junior version for the kids, and a steroid version for the adults. And speaking of "world famous", the San Diego Chicken will be in attendance, along with the Indian's Slider and the Phillie Phanatic. Death threats still fly, but the 24/7 police presence around the Polcyn Mansion is gone, or as far as we can see. Quote:

My consortium from last year is investigating Magnum Enterprises on the First 100% Green Amusement Park claim for possible legal action. I introduced my rather green park last year. I give Magnum props though for going south and picking Montaña Rusa de La Feria Chapultepec Magico

| In response, the CEO of Magnum Enterprises had this to say, "I see no evidence for such an outlandish and preposterous claim. GreenHouse Gardens is indeed a self-sufficient and environmentally friendly park, but it is in no way 100% green. Green Acres Amusement Park is the only park to hold that distinction, and as our track record shows, we are steadfastly determined to give every visitor to our park a 100% green experience."

We'll get to them when we can, those of us that do advertise. I also moved your above post to this thread. For me, I have three different storylines to decide from, so it maybe Friday before you see anything. But keep in mind that I will be doing things in my park (legally) that Holiday World and Cedar Point could never do.

| Texas thrills
Introducing TEXAS THRILLS extreme park in the semi-urban community of Mercedes, Texas, which is located in deep South Texas between the cities of Brownsville and McAllen just north of the Mexico border. ![]() TEXAS THRILLS is all about extreme thrill and innovative coasters and nothing else. If you're a casual family looking for a day of family fun and entertainment, go somewhere else! If you're a die-hard thrill seeker looking for nothing but the most lean, mean, extreme scream machines, then you've come to the right place -- I'm the place for you! No family rides, no water rides, and sure as hell no kiddie rides! We're located in deep South Texas, home to the park's Director of Park Operations Jimmy B, where the climate is perfect for year round operations -- from the start of January to the end of December! Average highs range from a mild 72 degrees in January to a much more pleasant 104 degrees in July and combine that with the tropical humidity and guests can enjoy the heat index up to 118 degrees in many of the summer days. "We feel this area of Texas is suitable for a park of this stature." remarks Jimmy B, a South Texas native. "The climate, but also a rapid-fire growing population center....we're located between the McAllen and Brownsville metropolitan areas, which combine for over 1.2 million people and still growing fast." We're also located within several hours drive of the other major cities in Central and South Texas: 260 miles from San Antonio 320 miles from Austin 150 miles from Laredo 160 miles from Corpus Christi 350 miles from Houston And for those that don't want to have to take on the long drives, TEXAS THRILLS has also helped financed the re-birth of Trans-Texas Airways, a precursor to the now Houston-based Continental Airlines. Start up services has been launched from McAllen's Miller Regional Airport to the cities across the Lone Star State, and code shared airlines will receive airline miles, two points for every dollar purchase in the park. "We also proudly serve Pepsi products! Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, and Dr. Pepper are among the soft drinks served."

In fact, my park is about midway between Six Flags Mexico and Six Flags Over Texas, it's about 567 miles north to Dallas/Fort Worth and about 597 miles south to Mexico City. And also I wanted to have a thrill park not too far from the Schlitterbahn Beach water park in South Padre, which is right on the Gulf slightly north of the river border. My dream is that I would have loved to see South Texas rival South Florida as far as being a major tourist destination, which is why I selected the location I did for my park.

I would also, for obvious reasons this year, be happy to have the following. But also from experience, sometimes the coasters you plan to have get snatched up and you need a whole new theme. I think its a nice benefit to offer draft participants. Please comment if you agree! Quote:

(AP) - Aurora, OH - TMZ is reporting rumors that Deviant Entertainment, and owner of the new Geauga Lake, That CEO Andrew Polcyn is now shopping the soon-to-be-opened park to such investors as WWE Chairman, Vincent Kennedy McMahon and even to The one and only Donald Trump. Anonymous sources say that Mr. Polcyn cannot afford to open the park unless he receives a second bailout, something TMZ is frantically researching. Word from the new Geauga Lake park is that despite the 10 new coasters and numerous flats, Mr. Polcyn will also be offering free food, free drinks and free merchandise. No word on the number of people admitted to the park before Mr. Polcyn makes the rest pay for their merchandise. Everyone is anxiously awaiting for the ribbon to be cut and we can enjoy all these great coasters...the only thing that matters is Mr. Polcyn.

| Go Nuts!
In another piece of news, we find out that Jimmy's favorite thing to snack on is Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts (salted), an assortment of almonds, pecans, filberts, cashews, and walnuts. And as such, he has decided to share his favorite snack with his park guests. Guest need only show their ticket stubs to one of the specialty cart stalls to receive a complimentary first bag of hot, roasted, salted mixed nuts. And guests who really love mixed nuts may opt to buy a ten-ounce souvenir container for $10 and enjoy refills for just a buck all season long! Either way, park guests will end up going nuts one way or another! Go Nuts at TEXAS THRILLS!

Leo Hot Wheel City Inc would like to present the Warner Bros. Wild Adventures and Galaxy Bay Indoor Water Park Entertainment Village. President Obama came in to break ground for what will be a catalyst for our state. Strategically outside an urban center near a industrial center hub, the site will involve a former GM Pontiac plant (the leveled plant will serve as the parking lot), a former outlet mall that was built over a former amusement park(sounds Opryland like?), and a closed landfill that will provide a buffer to the park. The new park opening will coincide with a light rail project passing through the industrial corridor into the suburbs. The former supply and loading railyard for the auto plant will be converted to a light rail station. The car plant was also strategically very close to an Interstate bypass around the city. The interstate interchanges will be upgraded to better separate park and industrial traffic. The park will construct a powerplant on the closed landfill to burn off methane gas for electricity. A greenhouse will be constructed to use the methane to grow vegetables for the park's restaurants, showing a green initative. The park will also have a solar farm and a couple windmills on a portion of the landfill property. Near the entry plaza to my park will be the indoor waterpark/amusement park/entertainment center of my park. Most of the outlet mall will actually be renovated. The food court will mostly remain intact with the Chic Fila and the first of several Burger King establishments in the park. The Burger King King will be the first unofficial mascot of the park. The 20 screen AMC movie theater will remain but will be upgraded with a new 10 story real IMAX theater. A Hard Rock Cafe will be added to this section with a neighboring Hard Rock Hotel. (Initially this whole complex was going to be the 2nd Hard Rock Park until the results of the first park were seen. They then hooked up with Warner Bros) As part of a phase two a Hard Rock Casino may be added in the future. The Dave and Busters will renovate. A Lucky Strike Bowling alley will open within the former JcPenney outlet store. On the west end of this former mall the indoor water park will be built. It will have a retractable roof, with 2 major complexes of tube slides that will exit and re-enter the structure. A wave pool, lazy river, and children's play structure with dumping bucket will be the other additions. On the east end of indoor park will be the amusement section. The headliner will be the Mindbender rollercoaster, the tallest indoor rollercoaster in the world. With 3 loops it is a very intense looping adventure that could even be taken in a backwards car. It will be painted neon green like the SFOG Mindbender. A carousel, Chance Inverter, scrambler, Rotoshake, a Rockin Tug will complete the indoor selections. Just east of the whole indoor waterpark/amusement park/entertainment village will be the grand entry plaza to our park. Just beyond the ticket gates you will enter Gotham City. Mr. FREEZE is the marque coaster that greets you, standing to your right as you enter. Beyond the park fountain ahead of you is the Ridder's Revenge, a third generation Intamin Gyro Tower. Just next to Mr. Freeze you will find Batman: the Ride, a very intense low to the ground 5 inversion inverted coaster. This is a mirror image of the very popular series of inverted coasters. In Gotham City you will also find the Joker's Wild Card flat ride, Joker's Carnival game area, Batwing - a ride with rising and lowering bat planes, Poison Ivy's Tangled Vines - a tri-armed ride with spinning car vehicles, Crimewave family swings, and the Penguin's Blizzard River river rapids ride. Just north of Gotham City you will find DC Adventures Plaza. Within this themed area you will find the Golden Ticket winning Bizarro and Superman (El Ultimo Escape) dueling hyper coasters. You will face the ultimate challenge of good versus evil in choosing which of the two hyper coasters you would like to ride. You will enter Bizarro facing its final bunny hop hills. Filled with fog in its tunnels, featuring LED lights, heat effects and on board audio, it's a wild experience. Superman is up to the task to save the world from Bizarro's evil ways. Each coaster provides its own air filled fun adventure. Also situated in DC Adventures Plaza is the Lex Luthor Invertatron - an intense Huss Topspin, Aquaman Splash Boat ride, The Flash - whip ride, and The Justice League Laser Battle Adventure ride. Across the centralized lake from Gotham City and DC Adventures Plaza you will find the Wild Adventures and Western Adventures themed areas. Just north of the entry plaza and indoor amusements sections you will find Wild Adventures. Headlining along the lake you will find the Kumba multiple looping coaster. Meaning "Roar" this is one of the most intense looping coasters in the country. Next to Kumba you will find a Jungle Tree frog hopping ride, a Turtle ride, a children play structure area, a Wild Safari truck ride with animal statues for the kids, and the White Tiger exhibit and Show Arena attractions. Behind the Indoor Waterpark in Wild Adventures you can ride the park train which will take you through Wild Adventures into Western Adventures. In Western Adventures you will find Ravine Flyer II. This unique hybrid wooden coaster features a large bridge carrying the ride over 4 lanes of traffic entering the entrance parkway of the park! This ride is not for the faint of heart as it dives into a ravine and features a 90 degree section of track. You will also find next door the Thunderation Mine Train coaster. This is a great mine train for beginners that you can even experience backwards. In Western Adventures you will also find the Wild Wild West Show Arena, the Wild Bulls Breakdance ride, the world renowned Phoenix figure 8 wooden coaster filled with generous amounts of airtime, the Vortex suspended coaster, the Goldrusher Flume Adventure, Mount Gushmore water play structure, Timber Tower - a swinging pendulum tower adventure, the Scorpion - a flat ride with abrupt outward swinging cars, and the Rattler - spinning frisbee attraction. The Vortex suspended coaster sits right next to Kumba on the lake, its lift hill ascending up a manmade mountain shared with the Goldrusher Flume Adventure. At Warner Bros. Wild Adventures and Galaxy Bay Indoor Waterpark you will find award winning rollercoasters the entire family could enjoy. Recognized around the world people from all over will descend on this park year round. Even in the winter this park will allow families to have a rewarding relaxing day with each other. A day during the summer at the park will conclude with an exciting fireworks show based on the lake and on top of our hill. Opening in 2009, come to Warner Bros. Wild Adventures and Galaxy Bay Waterpark. Exiting the park Grand Opening Weekend you could take a picture 2008 Philadelphia Phillies World Series Trophy, home of the reigning champs. My park features: Bizarro(SFNE) Superman: El Ultimo Escape Phoenix Ravine Flyer II Mindbender (notorious Galaxyland indoor Schwarzkopf) Mr. Freeze Vortex (Canada Wonderland) Thunderation Batman: The Ride Kumba

| Eagle Amusements Presents HAZARD HEIGHTS THEME PARK Eagle Amusements is proud to present the official fact sheet for Southern California's newest amusement park, Hazard Heights Theme Park. San Diego's tourists and residents alike are in for quite a treat, with a location only 10 minutes form the shore and 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, this park will be sure to please guests of all ages with Eagle Amusement's patented 'Ride n Learn' layout. The Ride n Learn layout will involve guests being able to ride the rides of various educational themes, so that at the end of the day they got their thrill, and learned something new. Eagle Amusement's first park will be themed to natural hazards, with a total of nine different themes. The themes will be as follows: Earthquakes Wildfires Volcanoes Snakes Deep Sea Storms Avalanches Arachnids Tornadoes Each of these themes will have a separate section in the park, each with a roller coaster, and a few other rides. Each themed section will also contain learning modules both throughout the queue lines of rides and in fun, educational attractions, some of which will have animal exhibits. Guests will be educated on the dangers, facts, myths, and safety on many natural hazards in this world. The park will offer ticket packages involving other educational parks in San Diego, including Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. There will also be a ticket package to allow guests to see all of SoCal's theme parks, including Sea World, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, Legoland, and Universal Studios Hollywood. Hazard Heights will also offer season passes to residents, as well as various two day, three day, and ten day ticket deals. Details such as operating hours, ticket prices, parking, and public transportation will be determined as opening day approaches, currently set for March 2010. Roller Coaster Page San Diego, CA - Eagle Amusements has finally released the name fo thei new theme park coming to San Diego; Hazard Heights Theme Park. The name at first seems as if the park is unsafe, but CEO Jerry Swinger preferred to clarify all of the public's confusions before letting their mind wander. Here's what he had to say, "We want people to wonder what is so dangerous about our park. We don't have a brand name, like Disney or Knott's, to get people's attention, but we do have the element of curiosity. Furthermore, once our visitors know what this park is all about, the title will make perfect sense to them, and they'll know we're actually all about safety!" "We've had some questions about our roller coasters too. As stated before, none of our coaster exceed 160 feet in height because Miramar Military Base is very close. In addition to the military base, the park is being built adjacent to an up and coming suburban village, named 4S ranch, part of Rancho Bernardo. We don't want to see objection from those residents because of noise and other disruptions." "Finally, some of our themes have also come into question. People asked, 'why not put something scary like a shark themed roller coaster in our Deep Sea section?' Well, we thought the Manta theme fit the actual roller coaster type better. And, as many people have said before, Steve Irwin, a zoologist himself, was killed by a ray, may he rest in peace. We've also heard many questions as to why there are no hurricanes, typhoons, or tsunamis at the park. As of now, we have a storm section which includes all cyclonic storms, involving safety on floods, lightning, and gale winds. We also have a section on earthquakes, which does have mention to tsunamis, after the unfortunate disaster in Southeast Asia. But then again, who knows what we'll come up with in the future?" "All in all, we hope people will enjoy our park, and we can't wait to see you all there on opening day." Swinger then proceeded to hand out two entry passes to every member of the audience, the passes being valid during opening month only. Previous Press Releases: May 26, 2009 May 28, 2009 June 2, 2009 June 9, 2006 June 17, 2009 |

| Okay guys! Well, it was a busy day at Worlds of Adventure yesterday due to it being the 4th of July, but I did happen to get a QuickPass which got me walk-on's on: Batman: The Ride Penguin's Blizzard River Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Escape From Pompeii Boulder Dash Griffon SheiKra Kilaminjaro Safaris Expedition Everest Indiana Jones Adventure AND Diamondback! So because of this, I was able to stop and take a lot of pictures. First off, as soon as the park opened I knew just the route to go. Most run for Diamondback early in the morning, but I headed straight for Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit. ![]() After Hollywood Rip, Ride Rockit, I went for Batman: The Ride. It was running great as usual! ![]() Then, when I headed for Gotham City Crime Wave, it was closed! Oh well, just a wave swinger. So then I went for the next closest ride, Penguin's Blizzard River. Sorry, I couldn't get any photos, it was just too hard. After Blizzard River came the one... the only... Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I head gotten to it just at the right time, as I heard it was closed the first 15 minutes of the morning due to a slight glitch. ![]() It was an incredible ride, and still stands as my favorite drop ride! Next came the closest coaster of course, Xcelerator. Luckily, it was open as last week it had a few issues. Unfortunately, this ride was not included on the QuickPAss and although it usually has a short line, the line was about half an hour. Not to bad but still... It was yet another amazing ride of course, MPI sure picked well! ![]() Next came Escape From Pompeii. Definitely a fun ride, but I wish it lasted longer! ![]() Next up was Boulder Dash. It has got to be the best wooden roller coaster in the world (or at least one of the best) A great ride through the trees! ![]() When I got off, I headed for Matterhorn Bobsleds. But of course, since that is not included in my QuickPass, the line was 45 minutes long! I decided to head to Curse of DarKastle first, which only had a 25 minute wait- very nice for this ride. ![]() It was a very nice ride, comparable to Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. Anyway, when I went to check on Matterhorn's line, it had at least shortened to 30 minutes, so I went for it. It was a good ride, but very mild. Though of course it is geared towards families! ![]() Next would come SheiKra VS Griffon: Griffon. I am so glad I had that QuickPass as the line was 1 hour and 30 minutes! Though I still had to wait 10 minutes in the QuickPass line. But it was worth the short wait, and would have been worth a long wait. ![]() It was about 11:00 now and the park had opened at 8:00. Making pretty good time, I decided to get SheiKra VS Griffon: SheiKra before lunch. That line was even longer with a 1 hour and 45 minute wait! I ended up waiting only 5 minutes surprisingly! ![]() Now it was time for lunch. I decided to go for the Wendy's in Africa. It was very funny, because although it looks like a normal Wendy's, it is in the middle of a savanah themed area with lots of interesting props. Once I finished lunch it was off to Kilaminjaro Safaris. The line for it was 1 hour, but it was oncluded in my pass so I walked on. It was an incredibly realistic tour, something that is just never the same twice. ![]() Next, we just decided to take some pictures of Jungla as the rides were pretty packed. ![]() Once that was over with, it was about 2:00. Time for Everest! The lines were horrible I tell you! 2 hours and 30 minutes! I had it on my Pass, but I still waited 15 minutes! Though the ride is truely unforgetable! ![]() After this we went for South America to find that Gran Fiesta Tour was down. Oh well, doesn't really matter. Next came Indiana Jones. Very long lines but surprisingly only 45 minute wait. Must be operating at full capacity. ![]() Once I got off I went for Diamondback. Again with another surprise, only 1 hour 15 minute wait and walk on for me. I guess everyone was at the back of the park now! Anyway, easily number one roller coaster ever! will be a strong competitor for Bizarro as #1 coaster next year!

Bad publicity stunt by Markham: look in the lower left corner of his last picture. So much for a family park. lol. I can't decide between Leo and Wes. I want to ride dueling hypers and I want free Coke if Leo decides to do that again. On the other hand, I want to go to NASCAR Plaza, but I don't want to pay $50 for parking. I guess I'll walk.
