When you are looking up to 2yrs in advance for games to come out because you already know what games are coming out before that.

When you get people at a coaster forum to join a FFXI online group.

When you see a church spire and think "That would be a good place to snipe from in MOHAA"

When you spend more time looking at coaster supports so you can build it in NoLimits than you do riding coasters.

When you incur the wrath of an angry wife who's just discovered you've bought a GeForce 4 card and sneaked it into your PC when she came across the credit card statement. (or is that just me?). Ah well, it's easier to get forgiveness than permission!

AHHH! Im a hardcore gamer! Ive done half of these things! (the mario party thing and the No Limits support thing are 2 examples)

Anyway,

You buy a surround sound system because you think the explosions in all those FPSs will sound "cool"

When you buy the new Madden every year

When you play night time marathons of Halo just to see how long you can go before it gets boring.

If you've ever bugged people to observe the awesome graphics in the game you're playing, even when they don't care.

If you've ever participated in a "console war" arguement.

If you own more consoles than other apliances

If you've ever looked at a console instead of playing it, just because it looks so cool

If you've skipped meeting a girl to play a video game (I'm guilty)

Instead of going to homecoming, you sat at home to play vdieo games (also guilty)

If you remember when arcades were small, dank hangouts in the mall, rather than the big, trendy hangouts they are today.

If you've ever read a book based on a video game.

If you reserve a game even if its going to be very easy to get.

If you knew what "All your base are belong to us" is from before the craze started.

If you've ever had a dream that you were playing a certain game.

If you have more than 1 video game poster hanging in your room.

If games like DDR and any other trendy arcade game disgusts you.

If you've ever had the urge to hijack a passing car on the street. (It seems so easy in GTA!)

If you complained that the Resident Evil movie had very little to do with the games.

If you've ever broken a controller out of rage from messing up in a game.

If you played your console so much that it didn't work anymore and you had to exchange it for another one.

If you bring a console to hook up to hotel room TVs on vacations.

The most important things to bring to others houses are your games and memory cards.

If you've ever cried from a sequence in a video game.

If you have any sentimental feelings for a game.
