RCT in Real Life

In this thread, you will find real life pictures of roller coasters & parks that look as though they could have been taken out of RCT!

"You have enherited a large ammount of land inside a small canyon. Your goal is to build a successful amusement park inside this canyon, with at least ___ guests by the end of year ___ and a park rating of at least ___!"

You can find those type of coasters at fairs. Mostly state fairs. I rode one at the Florida State Fair years ago. I still remember it. You go straight through that tube vertical. It's a weird coaster.

Ok, I'll explain why the picture looks like "real life" RCT - the coaster, Jester/Joker's Revenge, looks like somebody selected a preset looping corkscrew coaster and placed it on the edge of the park where there was nothing. There's barely any real landscaping. The pathway leading to the ride looks exactly like the pathways in RCT. Finally, the setting looks like something RCT would have as a scenario.

I created that thread. I found the coaster and said that it looked like something off of roller coaster tycoon. Yes, I did take it from another thread, but I created the thread.

The pre-lift roll is an element that has been in use in the RCT community for years. Hydra is freaky like that.
