Best Coaster Pic
Ok. This is simple.

From the TN archive of pictures, find the best coaster pic in the bunch for each of the following coaster categories:

Wood coaster

Hyper

Invert

looper

floorless

stand up

combination of several coasters pic

non coaster pic

after finding the best pics, post the link of each of the best pics and state the name of the ride and the park it is located in.

This is a fun concept. Can we add "Thrill Ride" as a category too. I'll be back later with my selected choices.

Yes, it should. Do they have to be from the TN archive or can they be from RCDB or another site? Or our own?

First off, why did you edit your post to say for "TN pics only"? There are a ton of good pictures not on TN. Secondly.. I have no idea what the "TN archive of pictures" even is..

It would be alot better if it was pics from anywhere. Also this should be in Message Board Games. And the first pic of Beast was an awesome shot.

I like the idea of promoting the TN gallery though. I think it'd be cool if TN's gallery became like a better place to search for coasters than RCDB. Also I might be biased cause I love uploading my pics to TN

I have always liked that one pics of Dueling ragons where they are both going through the loops. It looks so unique and perfect.

Do you honestly believe that? The Hercules photo sucked because you could barely see the coaster, it was small and from too far away, the onride photo is blurry and not exactly centered right (though Im sure it can be hard to do so, I wouldnt know, I follow the rules) and I didn't find anything special about the Raptor photo. (no offense to those who took the photos, I have hundreds of bad shots myself)

Those were some really nice pics jamminJ. Top Gun of course but that ariel pic of the Beast was wsome. Never see an areial pic before.

I have to agree with Ramblinwreck on this one. And I really don't want to start a flame war but I must say that I, in no way, am a SF fanboy. If I posted my favorite pics, only 20% would be from SF parks. Just because GAdv is my home park doesn't mean I am a fanboy.

Dude, don't be lame. Its cool to have a favorite park. Doesn't everybody have a favorite park(s)? Everybody is a fanboy because everybody has a park they hold higher than the rest. "i live 10 minutes from DORNEY! 10 minutes from DORNEY!" were dealing with a bad case of fanboyness...my fave park isnt even nessecarilly my homepark. i mean, sure i love pki, but ever since my cp trip, my view on the world of rollercoasters has forever changed...

Yea, Six Flags Over Georgia isn't my favorite park at all, though I can still hold a special place for it in my heart without saturating the site with SFOG propoganda and "OMG SFOG rulez" type of crap. It gets old quick, whether you are a CP fanboy, a Dorney fanboy, a Great Adventure fanboy...... whatever, you can like the park without being overly obnoxous about it.

I think uber-fanboy covers slnewbus well, and I'm suprised for the Invert pic that he didn't get a cool photo of Talon
