Coaster Draft 2005

I'm starting the thread a little sooner in case I don't geet a chance to be around later. If there are still any questions, check the sign up thread or PM me. MachChunk has the first pick but the clock doesn't officially start for him until 4pm (central) but if he's around, he can pick sooner and the rest can follow after he picks.

MackChunk is up to pick with the #1 pick.

I PM'd everyone a few weeks ago as you know of course. MachChunk and I exchanged PM's on that day that he last visited TN. He was looking to start around early June and I told him I was hoping to start sooner than that. I asked if May 27th would work out for him and he responded with May 25th. That worked out well for everyone. Bgwfreak (Wes) would be getting back from his trip May24th and Deja Vu Rules wouldn't be leaving for his until the 28th and everyone was going to be here on that date. So MachChunk partially was responsible for that date being set. Also, I think he might have it set up that he receives an email notification when he gets a PM. Reason I think that is because I've noticed before he's been away from TN for some time but when I PM'd him, he responded usually the same day or the next. I sent him a PM a few days ago to remind him. While I'll try to remind people to make their picks, it's also their responsibilty to remember their picks and to check the draft regularly.

There was no thing to resign up for the alternate draft. I posted a message in there a few weeks ago to see who would still be interested and only Blink 182 said anything. Since I need to fill a spot, I put him in this draft. If you are still interested in the other draft, see if the others are interested and if you can get anyone else to join and participate. As it is right now, there are only 4 people and of those I don't know who would participate. If you can get people to play, you can moderate it and I will help when possible. But there isn't space for anyone in this draft and it has already started. If anyone has any other questions about this or the alternate draft, post in the appropriate thread or PM me.

Let's leave this thread for mostly draft picks and comments on picks.

It's ok, I'm just sorry you missed your #1 pick. That's why I suggested you leave me a coaster to pick for you.

Let this be a lesson for everyone. If for any reason you tjink you might even miss your pick, let me know. Not only does this help you out if you might your pick, it can also speed up the draft quite a bit.

Just a suggestion, could everyone put their pick in BOLD. That way it's easier to scan through and read them all???

And can we keep all the commentary down to a minimum? It just makes it that much more difficult to find people's picks.

With the 7th pick in the Coaster Draft, I take X from SFMM.

And at this time I would like to announce a trade that has been made. I'm quite honored too since this is the biggest trade in the short history of the Coaster Draft. Hurricane and I have agreed to swap coasters. I will be taking Kingda Ka and will be giving him X. Along with that I'll will also be trading picks as part of the deal. I will be giving him my round 2 pick (#23) for his 3rd round pick (#34) and I will give him my 3rd round pick (#39) for his 4th round pick (#50).
