| Dread disease
This is a discussion my wife, mother, and me had driving to Dorney in 2003. One person gives two diseases/conditions and another decides with which one they'd rather be afflicted. First up - Hyperthermia or Hypothermia.

Hypothermia Herpes or syphilis BTW, is this susposed to be a message board game? And I dont think Hyper/hypothermia isn't a disease. A disease is an infection, that is just a low/high body temperature. Last edited by edh101985; 08-06-2005 at 01:07 PM. |

Hypo/Hyperthermia are conditions, EDH. Extremely low/high body temperature respectively. I can tolerate hypothermia much more (I would spend time in coolers and freezers and I loved it even though I got cold - I would just go in there in t-shirt and shorts).

No this shouldn't be in games because I don't see how this is a game. Someone can move it there if they please. Also I'm aware that hypothermia and hyperthermia are not diseases, that's why the first post said "One person gives two diseases/conditions". Finally, "an infection" is a piss poor definition of disease. I'd define disease as a condition of ill-health. Is heart disease an infection? Moving on, I'd chose hypothermia just because I think the body's shock system would numb us more to our condition during hypothermia than it would hyperthermia. Although during conditions not life threatening, I'd prefer the heat over the cold. As far as "herpes or syphilis", I'm pretty sure that herpes is generally not a fatal condition as the big syph is, hence it is my choice. Next up, electricution or decapitation.
