Cliffhanger down after one day of operation
Ghost Town in the Sky opened Cliffhanger Wednesday, July 1 to much anticipation.

According to reports from park patrons, the coaster never ran the next day. The park's website states that the coaster will not run for the holiday weekend.

I guess the ride took a Viagra and the park couldn't get it back up.

Its not uncommon for this to happen. Most coasters that have been newly built, refurbed, or moved have a wacky period after they open.

Not the best news. Hopefully they can get the problems fixed soon. The park really needs the coaster.

^^ And to think I thought about waiting until that Friday but decided against it!

I could only find two newer articles, one said it was hairline fractures in the seat structure.

I feel really safe now on my 11 rides!
