Well, looks like CF should follow in SFA's footsteps & just get rid of the ride....send it to Brazil.

I don't see what the big deal is. Every time a roller coaster gets stuck, the media has to blow it out of proprtion. I guess the media has run out of interesting stories to report about.

Let's see yet ANOTHER Vekoma boomerang has gotten stuck. You would think that after countless boomerangs, Deja Vu's, and Invertigos that they have built over the years, they would perfect the coaster by now. Granted incidents do happen on just about every roller coaster out there, but it seems these continue to have the same trend. Glad to see that everyone is ok though and that's what matters most.

At least it wasn't a GIB. AOL had an article on this when I signed on. One person claimed, "I thought I was going to die!" Really? Because you were suspended (safely) under the track, instead of seated on the track?

Guess this goes to show how stupid park guests really are.

it would less of an ordeal if it was a standard boomerang. Then they could just walk down the side steps.

The park is saying the chain broke. The train then locking into the anti rollback, stranding the train makes sense and works.

^This is one instance where the coaster breaking down showed it was also working properly. I've been caught on a lift hill before, and all I'll say is thank goodness for those anti-rollbacks.

The media didn't blow it out of proportion when I was stranded on Raptor.

In almost every case, a coaster being "stranded" is a resut of a safety feature working exactly as designed.

^Maybe at media days, parks should explain that.

If the non-enthusiast media can understand the concept of "If we don't have complete control of the ride, we stop everything where it is."
