July Contest (July 1-31): Mega Mouse

This thread is for entries only. Please comment on individual rides in their SpeedZone link, or take another thread or take it to the contest discussion. Comments in this thread will be deleted.

For the month of July, ThrillNetwork will hold a coaster design contest using the NoLimits software, the winner of which will receive a Six Flags season pass good at all Six Flags parks. Additionally, second and third place winners will receive a NoLimits ThrillNetwork T-shirt. All winners will have their coasters posted and featured on the official NoLimits web site.

Six Flags season pass prizes for the ThrillNetwork's NoLimits Coaster contest made possible by the generous sponsorship by Six Flags.

July Contest: Mega Mouse

Contestants must create a wild mouse, only this mouse must be on steroids. Here are the requirements.

- Your choice: Steel or Wooden coaster style, Inverted style is also allowed (Best Options: Steel Looping Coaster, Inverted Coaster (2-Seat), Wooden Coaster (classic 4-Seat))
- must be compact (like a wild mouse)
- 8 train minimum, one car per train
- Minimum twice as many blocks as you have trains (8 trains = 16 blocks, 10 trains = 20 blocks)
- 1 or 2 stations
- No taller than 125 ft.
- +5.5/-2 vertical Gs, +/-2 lateral Gs
(we increased it because wild mice tend to have higher G forces)
- maximum of 3 inversions, but you don't have to have any
- E-stop must pass (must stop at the block segments, and make it back to the station)
- Must pass tunnel test
- No terrain, theming, or cartextures
- Must use a lift hill and only one lift hill. Launches are not allowed.
- No wheels on the block brakes situated throughout the course. However, you can have wheels in the station and on any blocks that are used to park trains before the station (as ready brakes), and any block brakes after the station but before the lift.

You are right Steven, time flies. Well, here's my long awaited (eh well...) Wild Mouse Coaster, the Kitten Run Stormer. Hope you like it, and I hope I win!

If I get a prize, I will not be able to answer and give information on where to send things until 14th August, because I'm on holiday. So you will then hear of me after that. I hope you understand.

HEADLiner

After working on it a little too much, here is HEADLiner...my attempt at the July No Limits Contest

Originally I used a normal steel coaster which made everything quite tight and fun, however left something to be desired in how many supports I had to use, so I switched to Hyper...hope that's o.k.

Its called 'HEADLiner' because at one point there is a 'head-line' (not 'heart-line'). There is a straight away mid air where the car rolls, not around the axis of the heart, rather the head is used as an axis of rotation. The car moves around you.

Here's my entry, Paranoia Extreme. It took me forever, but it passes tunnel test, and it stays within the g-force limits. I hope everyone enjoys it! http://www.thrillnetwork.com/speedzo...w.php?file=579
