| | Where's my Price III I won the July contest, and it's now the middle of August and the season won't last much longer...will the season pass to the six flags parks be good until next July? if not, could the season pass be for 2005? I'm glad I won, but with so little time left in the 2004 season, planning any trips will be all but impossible...if the pass awarded could be for the 2005 season, I'll be able to plan and make the best use of this excellent price.
thanks,

| | ^ Hahaha...nice try simbiant. The "price" is for this year, not next. You should be happy to receive anything. You're what, 53 years old? Are you proud of yourself for winning top "price" against people half your age? lol.
The fact that you may not be able to "plan" a trip is irrelevant. You won the "price". You will collect that "price". Whether or not you use that "price" is not the responsibility of the contest holders.
Most SF parks will be open (at least on weekends) through October. I'm sure you can find time to "plan" a weekend to some SF park and use the pass.
If you don't think you'll be able to use the pass, then give away the pass to someone who can (switch "prices" with the person who won a shirt or something).
Bottom line = don't be greedy. Seriously.
Oh, and by the way...you won a priZe, not "price". I'd expect someone with wisdom as great as yours (achieved solely from age) to know the difference. |

| | | Magnum Robert, you need to settle down. The site is hosting a contest and the winner has a right to inquire where his "prize" is. He's calling it "price" because of a similar thread where the winner was from another country and mis pronounced prize. Just because you have a different political viewpoint doesn't mean you should bring your poor attitude into this. His entry and subsequent winning of the contest has absolutely nothing to do with you. Take your poor attitude and belittling remarks elsewhere where they might be appreciated.
At your age, I'd expect you to know better.

Art/simbiant | I will need to discuss this with the TN Speedzone staff. Very good question however.
We will try and answer your question as soon as possible. Also, if we aren't able to get a 2005 season pass, we could proabobly get you some TN swag at the store.
And Magnum Robert, stay out of it.

At your age, I'd expect you to know better. | This has absolutely nothing to do with politics. I'm sorry you're not smart enough to figure that out.
If there's one thing I hate it's an ingrate. Simbiant should be happy he won a prize, but it sure doesn't seem that way.
And if you don't like my posts, then use the "ignore" feature. That's what it's there for. Same goes for you, Raptordude. |

| | ^ Ban me for what? Suggesting simbiant give the prize away to someone who could use it, since he (for whatever reason) can't plan a trip by the end of October?
Good idea.
Oh, and one more thing, Raptordude. You are not a moderator, nor an admin. So drop the "I'm all high and mighty" act. Okay? |

| | | I asked a simple question and Magnum Robert turned it into an accusastion of ingratitude. It is nothing of the kind, but I'm sure that someone like Magnum Robert will never believe that. I find his sticking his nose into this to be insulting, degrading and contemptable. This kind of vitriolic attack is not the first he has made against me, and I wish to lodge a formal complaint against him right here and now.

Really, in all seriousness. MR, it was a simple question, you didn't need to attack the guy. And just because Kyle isn't an administrator or moderator doesn't mean anything. Again, please treat people with respect instead of attacking them.

| | | Simbiant, please do note that your "price" will be discussed with the right people.
Robert, there was no reason to post in this thread other than to flame. What's your point?

| | | I thank all of you for your consideration in this matter. MR sort of stole my thunder, but Ill make it clear now. If I can't get a pass for the 2005 season, give the pass to the second place winner. I had planned to offer that if things couldn't work out because I really can't take advantage of the pass this year...I had hoped things would have worked out differently, but the recent hurricane in my area will have me tied up for months, at least until December, and that will include weekends. Thanks for your support and I hope things can work out, but if they can't, I won't sneer at getting a T-shirt.

| | | Simbiant,
The passes are for 2004 only. Unfortunately, they are not good for 2005. Either way, we need your full name, address, and telephone number (you can PM that to me), and if you want the t-shirt, your t-shirt size.
Also, as far as the comments Robert made, they really could have been made a lot better. Plus, you are not in the position to answer questions about the contest prizes, as you do not run it. |

| | Them's the breaks I've given Steven the go-ahead to give the season pass to the second-place winner, as I simply won't be able to find the time to use it this year (and it's a bit ironic that it should go to him, seeing as how he said Hellbound Mouse sucked, at another site). Maybe next year another contest will come along and I'll get lucky again....and I'll have a Thrillnetwork T-shirt to wear!
