thats a really awesome contest just one question, when the second partner gets the track, to what extent are they allowed to modify the first partner's work, or can they not do any modification at all?

I knew I was forgetting some stuff... G's are now posted in the rules. Terrain is allowed Only mcbr You may only smooth the other persons track, you cannot add or delete any vertices. When you both work together, you guys can decide who does supports or how many cars you want (there is a required amount now posted in the rules). To keep in contact, please use AIM, PM each other, or email. Please do not use this thread or another thread.

The rules say, six cars per train. Is that a minimum, a maximum, or does it have to be exactly six cars? And I guess the "second group" (all those who are not mentioned in the contest thread) can do nothing the first 20 days?

errrrr..........ummmm........yeah. My computer got pwned and I don't have No Limits, so can I switch with my partner and be put into the second group? Also, when do we find out our partners and did you assign partners based on skill level? i.e. Real and Matt M can't be partners, because we'd all get pwned.

Pairings are random. You will know who your partner is once round one is over with. Finally, willski, I've asked your partner, and I am waiting for a response. I will pm you with further info.

Ok, if I was asked to go into the first round, I cannot, my videocard/motherboard decided to crap out in the middle of track tennis and the contest. I should have it fixed by the second round, which is where I was originally put.

Does an extreme banking count as an inversion? Can you use more than one lift/launch segment? |
|

What degree is your banking?

i think we decided a while back in another thread that an inversion is when its over 130 degrees, but i could be wrong.

135 degrees I believe constitutes an inversion. So anything 135 and higher is an inversion, anything 134 and under. This though, is on a case by case situation. |

If it's up to 135, then I'll be fine. |

TO answer someone's previous question, you may only have one lift/or launch. Not one of each, and no more than one. Banking is 135* for an inversion. Sorry for the delays, I haven't had any time to get on. If you have a question, I'm sure matt can answer it if I don't get to it in time, so keep posting in here.

When is the switch? I'm not sure how soon I can fix my computer that has NL on it, so I might have to drop out. For now, I'm still in. Do we switch at the start of December?

Oh, great, I'm sorry, but I don't know if I'll be able to fix my comp by then. You know how unexpected a computer breakdown can be. Are there any backup people that you guys have? If you guys need a solid answer right now, you can count me out, but if you can wait up until the 26th, then I'll tell you then if it's fixed or not.

how do you change ur coaster to a .ZIP file??
|
|

Download the program at www.winzip.com . It'll say that it's a 21 trial, but it really can be used forever. Don't worry about paying for the full program, just get the trial. When you have the trial, right click on the file you want to zip, and hit "create _____.zip", and that'll create a zip of the file you just clicked. Or if you want it to be a different name than you go through other options.
