| | | Cooperative Contest Results Now for the long awaited Cooperative Contest Results! All the tracks I received were well built. You guys worked as a team wonderfully. My rates are rather harsh occasionally, and I do not mean too offend anyone. My problem is that their is no nice way to tell you that your track had pumping or too many prefabricated supports. Anyways, I won't write another long drawn out paragraph and waste you time because this contest was delayed about as much as the 1876 Presidential Election, so below are the contest results. First Place En Fuego – Hobbester, Real
En Fuego was a yellow Intamin rocket coaster with no lateral troubles, a smooth ride, fantastic realistic supports, and great pacing. My only problem with the ride was that it had a few moments where the train "rocked" side to side because of the heartline, it was very subtle, like 10 degree banking. I think this is because the track was so rushed and the auto-heartliner probably was the cuprit. The color transitions were a nice touch too. Anyways congratulations on first place Real and Hobbester! Second Place Wirbelsturm – Ejatwd, Erik Leppen
Wirbelstrum was also yellow, however it was either a B&M or Giovanola hypercoaster. I don't mean to offend you guys but I couldn't tell which it was because the coaster had properties of both, which is not a bad thing. Anyways, you had some very nice supports, and I really liked how you incororated them into the ride to make some headchoppers without making it blaringly obvious to the point where it offends me. My main problems with your ride was that it had slightly rough trackwork at parts and that it pumped some. Your trackwork barely took off fromt he ride experience, and it was actually very well done, so don't get discouraged. My other main problem that many other rides seemed to share was a lull into the MCBR. Outside of these issues, you guys made a great ride! I loved flying through the supports. Third Place Jungle Fever – Tncoasters, Willski2002
Jungle Fever was a great blue twisted Schwartzkopf coaster. I liked your layout, because you kept it interesting with the twists and turns, and I never expected to be heading through the cobra roll at the end of the ride. I liked the old Schwartzkopf elements, mainly the insane loops. You had pretty good pacing, and most of the supports were okay. You had some moments where the ride would have difficulty standing up, but Intamin is pretty guilty of that too. The main downfall you guys had was that your track pumped a ton, and that you guys had virtually no heartlining at all. Because of the lack of heartlining, your lateral G's spiked up to around 1.8 at parts. You guys made a nice environment from what you had to work with, you just need to work on your trackwork. Congratulations on 3rd place! Fourth Place Spasmodic - SFFT 2108, BK2004
Spasmodic was a blue B&M looping coaster, with a launch! The ride started off with a bang right into an immelman, and the coaster was very interesting and had a great layout. It felt B&M and yet didn't. You had some well thought out supports to compliment your layout. You two had issues with the track staying banked too much at times, using more vertices will solve this problem. You also had pumping and had a complete lack of a heartline, which was very noticable in the turnaround element (the thing similar to the element after that dive loop on Mantis). I liked the layout very much on this ride because it was relatively unique. Fifth Place Psycho Parrot/Robocoaster’s Entry (Untitled)
This black and yellow inverted coaster which will now be referred to Untitled came in 5th. I liked the pacing you two established, and I liked the unique element order as well as the loop around the lift hill. It was nice to start out the ride with a nice zero G roll instead of the traditional loop. You main downfall on this coaster was that you guys kept the track banked for way too long. This is because you're using too few vertices. If you use more vertices, you can bank much better and the track will flow much nicer. You guys also used too many prefabricated supports, and had a giant slow lull into the MCBR. Pumping was also in issue with your ride. Overall, this was an entertaining ride. Entry Downloads 1st Place: En Fuego by Hobbester and Real Second Place: Wirbelsturm by Eric Leppen and Ejatwd Third Place: Jungle Fever by TNcoasters and Willski2002 Fourth Place: Spasmodic by STTF 2108 and BK2004 Fifth Place: Untitled by Robocoaster and Psycho Parrot
*Due the unfortunate delays of the this contest, I will not be posting these in the Winner's Circle because it's rather pointless to have them up for 3 days. Give your competitors a rate! I wrote this late at night, tomorrow I will proofread again and correct things that do not make sense. I apologize for any inconvienence.

| | | From what manufacturer was it supposed to be from, I never figured that out. I'm leaning more towards Giovanola. |

| | | w00t w00t. I am pretty happy with me and BK2004 coaster. Atleast we didn't get last. Yah. Congrads to Hobbester and Real on winning. I would like to thank BK2004 for being my part (picked at random) If It was some one else, I don't think the coaster would turn out great. (Not that yall suck) Me and BK just worked pretty good together and since we have talked before on AIM we get along pretty good. I am not trying to put anyone down. Just look at the results lol. But still, I couldn't pull it off with out BK2004. Yah people need to rate our coasters. No rates so far. Carry On..... |

| | /\ Well said! Thanks!
But yeah, it's better that we two get togather and not a NL's wiz because he would probably be mad at me for building suck a sucky half of the ride and crap and I would be doing everything wrong, but it worked out good because me & sfft are on the same page with NL's. Hey, I think you pared us up on purpose!
But yeah congradulations on Hobbester and Real on winning!!

| | | Meh, our entry was a little rushed, and I did heartline it, but ran out of time. I'm glad you liked the double loop etc. 1.8 Lats?!? When I tested it at 25% speed, the highest the lats got were 1.1 or 1.2. I tried to keep them under 1, but that helix killed me. I'm happy with the third place finish, highest I've ever gotten in an NL contest, but I've only entered one other one before.
