August Prizes (NOT RESULTS)

The grand prize for the month of August will not be a Six Flags season pass. Instead, we will be giving away a $50 gift card to Amazon.com to our first place winner.

Our second and third place winners will still receive the same prize pack.

so when should we expect the results. And why was the monetary value of $50 chosen. Most of the major Six Flags parks have season passes that cost more than that. Only park I ever saw have a pass that cost 50 or under was Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Just curious on why that value was chosen, and when can we expect the results to be in

I'm guessing that it's because Six Flags donates (I think I read it somewhere) the pass; or maybe they give it to TN for a reduced cost. $50 Amazon certificate is pretty awesome...

Contact someone on the speedzone staff via PM or e-mail. That wasn't too hard.

Just wondering, will the $50 certificate be physically mailed out, or will it just be an electronic thing?

It's an electronic thing. Also, winners, if you don't claim your prize within 30 days, you will not be able to claim it at any other time.

We did receive it... though we have to wait for others to submit theirs.

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

Wait, it's electronic? I thought it was mailed out.
I've been waiting for my TNPP prize since May. However, Aaron has been a big help with it giving me pretty frequent updates.

I am still waiting though

In regards to prizes:

For No Limits Contest: When you use the proper method of contacting us regarding a prize, it is taken care of by higher up administrators that handle our budget and take care of our prize. I will try and update you soon with the status of your prize. You have a right to know, and I will work hard to keep you guys informed.

For TNPP: Prize winners were given to Alex W. He will take care of them shortley.

Please be patient, but I will try and get you guys an update soon.

Also, Alex T is no longer the section lead for Speedzone. I am in charge of this section now, please PM with any questions and concerns. Do not hesitate to bring up any problems that you encounter.
