| | | 5 Inversions+ Coaster Contest In the light of the Record Breakers contest, I want to put forth a new competition.
I hope it'll go a bit smoother than the Record Breakers Contest!
Requirements: - 5 Inversions
- Standard Inverting Type Coaster (Use a regularly inverting coaster)
- Must be Complete Circuit
If this gets going, We can determine a time limit.

| | | Is it 5 inversions, or 5+? I need to practice NL again now that I got my laptop fixed. Your guidelines should be more specific too. |

I think the guidelines are just loose enough, and just tight enough, to make it a free playing field. The ride must go 180º upside down, 5 or more times. It needs to be Full Circuit, and has to be a kind of ride you'd normally see do an inversion.

Anyhow, I started a coaster. Not sure whether I am going to use it however.

| | | I have a question. Will there be a template provided, or just make a coaster with no boundaries?

| | | No Boundaries, Yes hyper coasters are allowed, assuming they're meant to be an intamin looper. (Same for intamin invert.)
Pretty much, my list of what is allowed, is below:
Common Types:
Corkscrew
Inverted (2-Seat)
Twisted
Inverted (4-Seat)
Intamin Looper
Floorless
Stand Up
Less Common:
LIM Launched
Intamin Invert
Vekoma Flyer
EuroFighter
EuroFighter 2
Those are the listed. If you want to make something else, like a 5-looping Schwarzkopf, that's fine too.

| | | I personally think you should make it more challenging, atleast provide a building area, speed or height limit. When theres more restrictions or goals to reach it makes the designer work harder and therfore come up with better rides. |

| | | I agree. I think this is basically just build any looping coaster contest. Which means you'll have B&M inverts against Schwartzkopf loopers against Arrows and Eurofighters. The rules also don't include anything about terraforming or 3Ds.
How bout putting some regulations on this? Like height/speed, overall length, box in a boundary area, etc. |

You should pick a minimum of 2 judges so we can assure everyones rides have a fair chance of winning. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
