Rio Hotel/Casino Las Vegas to build 500 foot observation wheel

Go to http://kvbc.com/Global/category.asp?C=6014&nav=15MUCBSd and scroll down a bit...

It's going to be over 500 ft. tall, be at the Rio, cost about $18/ride, and have a 20,000 sq. ft. night club 300 feet in the air(the part that holds the wheel up).

I'm glad they finally have a site and it can be built.
http://www.voyager-ent.com/ gives a lot of detail on the cabins and the club (both look very awesome) as well as a little info on the Dallas, TX, and they mention the Asia and New York sites, but don't really give any info yet. I can't wait untill this opens, it looks beautiful.

^ If you can go on MF (as well as TTD next season ), then you should be able to ride this one. It's only 200 feet higher than MF, so not much difference. Besides, I know how much you love riding Ferris Wheels.

I'd ride it and will if I ever get the chance.

^ Since I'd have to pay $18 to ride it, I sure hope I'd get to ride for an hour!!!

That makes for two 500+ foot-tall giant wheels coming to Las Vegas in the future.

Dosn't look as fun as the eye, i mean 400ft in a city (with no skyscrapers) or 500ft in the desert?

Las vegas sounds impressive but every ride they build seems to be flawed in some way.

Anyway, isn't there another in another country?

I'm pretty sure there is only one. This is just the new location of the same project.
