I think its stupid and smart to put these things on:

1) less of a line so you dont have to clean the stuff up
2) gives you a good sign what to expect!

My parents are going to WDW in a few weeks. They asked me to go, but money is pretty scarce and I'm gigging the week they're going

Dammit!!

You can look at it two ways: they fit into the whole theme of the attraction, and they also can be useful for a Code 'V'.

Well, with any ride that can cause motion sickness, there's a great chance of that happening... Motion Sickness can occur in Space, even easier than it can occur on an Airplane.

That ride isn't too bad...the only part that I feel woosy about was the very first part of the launch when the centrifuge started to rotate but the video showed you going forward. After the centrifuge sped up I was fine. I think it is definitely a good idea to put in barf bags. Saves on puke clean up in pod 3.

I watched something on TV about Mission: Space. I don't remember all the details---just the part about the staff needing more towels, b/c so many people got sick. I wouldn't be able to ride for that reason; I have a weak stomach when it comes to puke.

I'm sorry, it's not "puke", "vomit", or "throw up", it's a "guest illness". What was I thinking?

People get sick in space all the time. From what I've read, when they opened up the Apollo 8 capsule after splash down, the rescue workers had to turn there heads away because the stench was so overpowering.

Of course, it was more then just vomitus that had been floating around....

Best thing they ever did was to have just plain white bags on there. You put an esignia on the bag and suddenly you've got a free collectors item that dissappear alot.

Well you think that they would be the cheapest since they spent over $100 million dollars on the ride, why waits money and put something on the bag?

Insignia or no insignia, I know I'd put that bag to good use---and I wouldn't want to keep the bag as a souvenir either.

I once saw on Ripley's Belive it or not that there's a guy that collects barf bags from airlines. That, and I can pretty much gauretee that if those bags said mission space on them, there would be those out there, members of this board included, that would be swiping the bags.

I'tll all add to the collection of random free-bees that you pick up from parks, just because there to be taken.

I never thought barf bags on rides would actaully happen. Or has that happened before? I remember a poll about barf bags on coasters.
