^I agree that has to be the scariest loading on any ride and I know that I would be scared to get on that roller coater.

millennium force has the scariest loading because of the freaky music and it is cold in there (because it is the best time to ride it in the morning) and because the trains whoosh by the station really fast.

The old Black Widow shuttle looper at SFNE where you had to climb up many stairs to get on the thing

I agree about the FoF loading. I also hate those spinning stations that some flume or rapids rides have.

I really don't like the loading for any kind of water ride. I saw a worker get pinned between a log and the rotating platform at Cedar Point, and ever since I've been terrified of the loading on most water rides (the round rotating platforms).

FOF and Son Of Beast.I mean, my lap bar on FOF unlocked once JUST as the special effect music for lauch started! Scared the ***** outta me! The ops forgot to say "Up Bar" on the speaker, and forgot to stop the music. Also, I keep thinking itl lauch, WHILE I am boarding.

And on SoB, that blasted 60-foot-high station with just a chain-link fence RIGHT, i mean, RIGHT ON THE EDGE!

I'm guessing something like this: or maybe I hope he's ok.

He ended up being ok, but the ride operators obviously weren't knowledgable about guest control. They didn't close the line (which I ended up doing by moving the entrance sign in front of the queue), and they were cycling people THROUGH the station right past him while he's screaming in pain.

Some people cease to amaze me. Don't get me wrong, I love Cedar Point, but sometimes I wonder if they really are the best park operators out there... (other than Holiday World of course).

I will find out about that soon, as I'm headed down to PKI. Is the staff down there very friendly?

Yeah they are. It just seems that everytime i go to CP all the ride ops are in a foul mood and have blank expressions on their face. It can't be that bad of a job. I'm not speaking for all CP ops cause some of them were very friendly but the majority of them just diden't seem to care.

I did have my first ever complaint about a few ops on Thunder Road last saturday. They diden't just forget to check one lap bar they failed to check any at all. We boarded the the train and next thing we knew the thumbs were up and we were on our way without one lap bar being checked. Also mother had to check her own kids bars since she wasen't riding and the scary enough the 2 kids were not even tall enough to ride. You better believe i brought this to the attention of park management.

i hate those canoes on flume rides where you are not strapped in and there are people sitting in front of you and behind you and when you go up a hill you get squished by the person in front of you

Might be the wrong place to post this, but I still get kinda freaked out by waterslide lines. Especially the wooden steps that seem to go up forever. Your also standing there idle duck on one step. i always think that one step of wood is going to break and I'm going down 50ft with it.

I agree about the waterslide steps... Especially when each step is three thin boards with a space between them...

The ol' Fury at PCW. If there were a complete power failure, the loaded side would seccumb to gravity and come down. I experienced this as an operator there during the blackout. This was also how we evac the ride that day.

it would be one of the log flume or rapid ride rotating stations.

Nothing worse than being in a big group with the end of the platform approaching as you get in especially seeing as they can't quickly stop the boat/log

That might be a little odd. Cyclone (brooklyn) is scary loading because the bars don't have to be locked for you to go, so I always imagine them pulling the lever before I'm locked.

I was loaded in a ferris wheel with cars that tip over. I was definitely holding onto the wheel in the car so it would not tip us sideways, maybe even upside down, but I doubt that due to the weight of the car.

Ooh, scariest...

-KMG Experience, for the main reason that the ride begins to move just as the restraints come down. I've had horrifying dreams where the restraint doesn't come down and the cars start flipping and I slide off, and hold on to the bottom of the seat for dear life before being thwacked by the main arm and flying to the platform as the arms start do descend and I must squish down to avoid getting squashed. Same with the KMG Afterburner.

-S&S Space Shot. I've always been paranoid on the Big Shot about my butt barely touching the seat and the ride blasting off, flipping me over the edge.

Another vote for the S&S Towers. I love the ride, but waiting for the OTSR's to lock make me nervous too. I'd feel a lot better if they would lock before the car moves - even if the car only inches up about a foot or so! Sitting on top of that much air pressure with an open OTSR makes my skin crawl.

B&R:TC are always scary because they originally had glitches reading the speed as 200 MPH, andI always think it might launch that fast, and go flying off where the track ends.

The water/anti-freeze under Mantis makes standing in line terrifying.

I also forgot Cliffhanger (Mondial Spalshover). I always get scared that I might slip (when ther's water) and fall into the pool. It also scary because during the ride you hear a motor vibrating and it sounds like the restraints are gonna go up.

Im not a big fan of insecure heights, and it seemed that EVERY platform at PKI had to be an absurd distance off the ground...especially SOB and Top Gun.

Loading though, I was so terrified on Tob Raider....just kinda sitting in that room...with the music playing, and having no idea what was going to happen or anything...I just couldnt calm down. But then it turned out the ride was short and lame..

the scariest restraints are the one on jet scream @ pcw cause they press on u realhard for about 5 seconds and the first time u ride it u think there just going to press harder and harder till it lets go

and just add to what PCW said shockwave loading is kind of scary cause u dont pull the restraints down its all automated and it goes down fast and u think its going to hit ur head and the seats are movable so its hard to het in to ur seat
