Belmont Park's Krazy Kars

I went to this park in San Diego, CA last summer and was intriuged by this unique ride.

It's a bumper car style ride, but the cars aren't just normal ones. They are like bumper boats sort of with rods on either side as the "steering wheel."

It was indoors so it was very loud. But either way, the ride is much louder than regular bumper cars.

---

Anywho, I just wanted to know, is this ride the bumper cars from Arrow Dynamics?

It can also be found in RCT2.

---

The only picture of the ride that I could find is from Belmont Park's main site.

those bumper cars are the best!
the local bowling alley here has had them for around 8-10yrs now. They got decent speed, easy to maneuver, and alot of fun just to make yourself spin in one.

A bowling alley has them? That's pretty cool! Yeah, they are fun to just sit there and spin around

I've never seen those before, but they look awesome. WAY better than average bumper cars. Be careful not to yank that rod too hard.
(Wow I need to get my mind out of the gutter)

yea, they call it a "family centre."
basically it started out as a really big bowling alley. Then they added a pirate themed bar with singing skeleton animatroincs (that ever work anymore), a huge arcade, bumper cars (the kind you're talking about), and lazer tag (which was removed recently).
Recently they added go karts and some small amusement rides.

Oh ok, one of those type places. Still cool to have one of those type rides at a locel revenue.

I guess nobody doesn't have any more information on them.

They can be found at a lot of those family entertainment centers like Jeepers! They really are a lot more fun than normal cars as when you get hit you go flying and really feel it.
