I can't remember the name, but I recently rode something similar to that (maybe it was that) at a fair.

I think I have seen one of those before. If you would ride the roller coaster, It seems like you would get dizzy a lot.

Well, at Lakside Park(now defunct) they had one of those..I forget what they call it now, but I've ridden one before too. I was going to say spider or octopus, but no...they are different from that.

Its made by Eyerly... They made lots of rides like loop o plaens and rock o planes... (Hmmm lots of PLANE names rides.. from a company named "AIRCRAFT"

If you remember the movie Grease , at the last scene when they finish high school they have kind of a fair there and you cna see the same ride. It spins and go up and down pretty fast as the seats rotate freely.

I would have to say it's definitely along the lines of the Octopus. I'm sure it has been called other names -- there used to be many "standard" amusement park/fair/carnival rides that were all pretty much the same in design but had different names depending on the park/area of the country.

On a different note, I just have to say that park looks pretty lame from the photo...kind of just thrown there...just my .02
