Inverted Flying Carpet

http://drkssk.fc2web.com/zekkyou/nag...king/carp4.jpg

I hope this isn't something everyone knows about. I didn't know these existed. This ride is at Nagashima Spaland, the place with Steel Dragon 2000 in it.

I have never seen that before. How does it work? I have heard of a flying carpet before, but don't know how it works either.

It looks pretty sweet...although it does look like something you would see at a fair.

That looks pretty cool. I kinda of like the Falling Star rides so that would be interesting.

There is also one in a Euro park that has water sprayers under it. Back in the old CF days there was a topic about one. Back in 2001.

That looks like an awesome flat everybody would love, I am surprised parks aren't investing in an inverted version though.

those rides are really not taht fun, you barely get any air and if you do it usually forces you into the restraints, the falling stars give much more air, excitement, and they dont through you into anything but a usuallyl padded wall

I am so far behind on all these types of flat rides. I like have no clue what the names of them are. Is there any more pictures of this ride?

It looks cool. Although, I’ve never thought flying carpets were all that great to begin with so I don’t see the point in making another version of it.

BGW has one of the regular flying carpets. It made me sick the last time I rode it.

http://www.buschgardenswilliamsburg....ci_cradle.aspx

I've rode it twice, and that's enough for a lifetime.

People are freaked out by the fake rope that looks like the ride is operating on. I overheard one of them saying "That thing doesn't look safe!!!" lol

Nagashima Spaland is an awesome park. I like flying carpets, I think inverted carpets would offer a nice footchopper effect.

I've never trusted those flying carpets with only one arm like the one in Superbowl's first picture (as opposed to 4); it just looks so unstable...how come they don't topple over? I've been on that exact one and it was pretty scary.
