HUSS Top Spins

I absolutly love these rides. Extream head rush you get on some of them. I've found true love. True, they can be a tad harsh of men (If ya know what I mean ) But I love them anyways. Anyone else here love these rides, or at least like the ride they give?

My favorite one is the one in Astroland (Brooklyn, NY). It is very long, and it spins very quickly non stop. It also gets you wet, which is good on a hot day.

I do like Top Spins. My home park has one and they have been running an awesome ride cycle all summer long. I don't like the water. Getting that soaking wet maybe fun for guys to look at especially a chick wearing a white t-shirt, but it isn't fun when you get water all up in your face.

Katie, who can't wait for her King Kahuna fix WITHOUT water!

Yeah, I do like Coney Island's Top Spin. When I saw the fontains, I knew Iwas going to get wet, but i underestimated how wet you get (I looked at the seats) It really stunk when the fountains were aimed perfectly up my nose.

I only like them w/out water. When you add the water, you can't see, breath, or be dry for quite some time. My favorite is Thunderhawk @ WoF.

The one at SFEG breaks down A LOT! I've gotten stuck on it 3 times. Do the other ones break down as often or is just the one at EG really old?

Knott's HUSS Suspended TopSpin RipTide (it's my avatar!) is a pretty aggressive thrillride and that water makes it all much more thrilling in a way. I've never been on a TopSpin before that, even though I passed up Geauga Lake's first generation version.

i like the huss top spins. The king kahuna is one of my favorite rides at kennywood. But it's only fun when it flips a lot. sometimes it will flip 3 times and then rock the rest. Other times it will flip like crazy. And i don't like the water affect. Last year they didn't get people wet, this year they did. Now all the seats look green and dirty from all the water.

I would thing that the water fountains are aimed and set by computer to get people wet when the weather is appropriate...I want to ride one with the water as that looks to be some added thrill on a very hot day...

Fiesta has a Top Spin that I enjoy. "Der Twister". It's themed to a log, like i've seen other top spins themed to. It usually has a good run. It also has the capability to spray people in the face, or at least have high schooting fountains. But usually, they either are plain off, or trickle down like a small stream into a puddle. It's right next to SKC. Fun ride, it is.

Not at kennywood. The person at controls can control the water rising. After a certain time they didn't use the water affect, mainly because the park knew that some people like to stay dry when riding.

I can understand a hot day and people wanting to get wet. In Kennywood there are 3 other ways to get pretty wet. Log Jammer, Raging Rapids, and Pittsburg Plunge. I don't think King Kahuna should have the water effects. I like a dry top spin thank you!

Katie, who will get her KK fix in 3 days!

Yeah i know, I misread the thread title. For some reason i thought it said Huss Frisbee. My fought.

I'm really looking foward to riding PKD's Top Spin. I have been on alot since it's my favorite thrill ride and right now my favorite it at Geauga Lake.

I don't like Topspins... A topspin was my homepark's signature ride for years and while it is perhaps one of the best spectator rides out there, i just think they are boring.I don't like being hung upside-down for long periods of time. I just don't. And both the topspins i've ridden pride themselves in this trick... *yawn*Also. What is the facination with giving them water jets? Expeshally in a generally cold country like England. It;'s not like you get a little wet. You're entire torso and head gets drentched. Pooooint? Also. Techynical difficulties with Ramases Revenge and Ripsaw in the UK this year have suposedly been the result of the water jets. And i've ehard rumours of the same thing happening elsewhere...Also. They are often run of rubish settings where the car fails to even perform a full spin or the little airtime spin. The constantly swinging is also rough, their restraints are terrible and i hate them. One of my first big flats, but doesn't change the fact that they are, IMO, awful
