They could probably call that the "Ultra Hurler" because puke would be flying off it in all directions.

This is about a flat ride so it's moving there now.

sounds awesome. btw...does acrophobia rotate the entire vehicle around the tower (like an observation tower) or just rotate each seat towards the ground?

What about one that shoots you up a tilted tower?

It would be great. I'd ride it. But wouldn't the cars need to be modified.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but it might have some structural problems, shooting up with that amount of force not in a straight line like the conventional towers is undoubtedly going to put tons of stress on the structure and the cars. But if you didn't launch at the same sorts of speeds, it might be possible.

If the rotations of the ride were very gradual(sp) I think that it would work. Wow that would be so great though.

i think the idea would work with a turbo drop theoretically, too, right? oh and are there any acrophobia clones?

ps-gradual is the correct spelling

Or how about a standup drop tower that tips you completely upside down before you drop to the ground.

Actually, The twisty tower would need some serious seat belts. You would be slammed out on them pretty hard. It would just add to the experience.

This idea could work if built correctly. If the tower was built so that the twist(s) were not very close I think that it could work with one or two twists. The only problem is since there are cables attached to the cars you might have some problems getting the cables to not twist around the tower. If the area on the car that is attached to the cable is modified to stay in one place(though I am not sure how) this idea could be done.

Remember: Anything is possible if you just put your mind to it.
